This week, CinemaCon is taking place, which is an annual movie theater industry trade show where studios reveal their upcoming theatrical releases and more. So, there has been a TON of movie news teased recently.
From first looks and more info about Dune: Part Two, Wonka, Anyone But You, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Color Purple, and more, there have been a lot of reactions coming out of the annual trade show, with people at home getting even more excited for some of the biggest movies of 2023.
But one movie in particular made everyone even more excited after their CinemaCon presentation, and that would be Barbie.
Yesterday, the cast of Barbie — Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and America Ferrera — and director/writer Greta Gerwig took the stage to talk more about one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year.
The group teased what it was like filming the movie, with Greta saying she hit a point when working on the script with her partner, Noah Baumbach, that she "couldn't imagine anyone else" directing the movie.
And Margot and Ryan discussed what it was like portraying Barbie and Ken, two very iconic characters, with Ryan saying that he "doubted [his] Kenergy" when he was first asked about the project, but "Margot and Greta conjured this out of [him]."
While all of the info we got about Barbie was so good, everyone could not stop talking about Ryan and Margot's outfits.
Ryan wore an incredible "from director Greta Gerwig" T-shirt, paired with a pink jacket.
While Margot wore a two-piece pink and white Prada outfit.
Honestly, it made me so excited to see what these two will wear for the press tour for Barbie.
Margot and Ryan's CinemaCon style was so perfect, people on the internet could not stop talking about them:
