15 Celebs Who Admitted They Had Never Watched Their Spouse Or Partner's Popular TV Show Or Movie

Priyanka Chopra said she's never seen Camp Rock and thinks it would be fun to have a viewing party where she watches it with Nick Jonas for the first time.

1. First, when Emily Blunt started dating John Krasinski, she had never seen an episode of The Office, where John notably starred as Jim Halpert for 201 episodes.

At the time, she'd only seen the UK version of the hit show, starring Ricky Gervais.

2. Despite having been in a relationship with Harrison Ford since 2002, Calista Flockhart has never really seen a Star Wars movie. In fact, her knowledge is so limited, she didn't know what the Millennium Falcon was.

When Harrison was injured on the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Calista got a phone call from a producer saying the door malfunctioned on the Millennium Falcon, and she was so confused. She recalled, "I thought he was on some commercial airline, and the door fell off and he flew out of the airplane! And I called a friend and said, 'What the hell is the Millennium Falcon?!' I have never heard of that airline!"

3. According to Chris Pratt, his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, hasn't seen Parks and Rec, Guardians of the Galaxy, or several of his other most notable movies. In fact, the only movie of his he knows she's seen is Bride Wars.

"Her favorite movie is Bride Wars. Katherine is a huge fan of Bride Wars. She calls that 'true cinema.' I think that might be one of the only movies of mine she's seen," Chris said.

4. Holland Taylor revealed that she didn't really watch American Horror Story when her partner, Sarah Paulson, starred on it because she found it hard "watching her in jeopardy."

"She’s had two seasons in a row where she was running and screaming and fleeing and being in jeopardy," Holland said. Despite finding it hard to watch the show, Holland says she admires Sarah's ability to "go where she had to go for a scene."

5. Priyanka Chopra revealed that she's never seen Camp Rock, despite being married to Nick Jonas, who starred in the movie alongside his brothers Joe and Kevin.

She said, "I've never seen Camp Rock, and everyone makes fun of me about that, so maybe soon we’ll have a Camp Rock viewing party. I bet it will be great."

6. Jeffrey Dean Morgan admitted that he's never seen an episode of One Tree Hill, even though his wife, Hilarie Burton, starred as Peyton on it for six seasons. On the Drama Queens podcast, Hilarie has joked that Jeff should start a podcast where he watches it for the first time.

On the podcast, Hilarie also revealed that for Christmas one year, Megan Park, who is married to OTH star Tyler Hilton, got Jeff a hat that says, "I've never seen OTH." Jeff even auditioned for One Tree Hill and almost played Uncle Keith.

7. Tom Pelphrey had never seen anything his partner Kaley Cuoco was in prior to dating her. In particular, he had no clue she starred as Penny on The Big Bang Theory and only found out when his mom's partner kept calling her "Penny" when they first met.

Tom recalled the story of how he found out Kaley starred on The Big Bang Theory, saying, "I had no clue what was going on. So I pulled Kaley aside, like, 'I'm sorry, I don't understand what's happening. Why does he keep calling you Penny?' She's like, 'That's my character in The Big Bang Theory.' I was completely unaware."

8. When he first started dating Meghan Markle, Prince Harry had never seen an episode of Suits, telling the BBC, "So, no, I'd never watched Suits. I've never heard of Meghan before."

In his memoir Spare, Harry revealed that after he started dating Meghan, he googled some of her Suits scenes and stumbled upon some sex scenes she'd filmed with Patrick J. Adams. He wrote, "I'd witnessed her and a castmate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room. ... It would take electric shock therapy to get those images out of my head. I didn't need to see such things live."

9. Kelsea Ballerini slid into Outer Banks star Chase Stokes' DMs, despite never having seen an episode of the hit Netflix series. She said, "I've never seen his show, but I just knew of him, and I just swan dove right on in."

Talking about the early days of dating Chase, Kelsea said, “I was ready to open back up. I just felt, why not? I’ve never really dated; I don’t know how it works. I’m like, 'Let’s just put ourselves out there — let’s just vibe.' And it’s been fun."

10. Lily Allen had never watched Stranger Things when she matched with her now-husband David Harbour on the dating app Raya. She just thought he was "like a sexy policeman from a reality TV show."

One of David's photos on his dating profile was him in Hopper's signature police uniform from Stranger Things. Lily added, "It was a still from Stranger Things. I’d never seen Stranger Things."

11. Growing up, Leighton Meester didn't watch The O.C., which starred her now-husband Adam Brody as Seth Cohen. Although she wasn't a fan, she remembered her friend had Seth as a screensaver at one point and she thought he was cute.

"I know, for me, when his show came out...I think I was just like, 'I don't wanna watch that. That's, like, a teenage show.' Even though I was 16, but all my friends watched it," Leighton recalled. Adam has also revealed that he's never really seen Gossip Girl, either.

12. Although they've been married for 21 years, Freddie Prinze Jr. has never watched Sarah Michelle Gellar in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. "I wasn't exactly the demographic, in my defense," Freddie said.

When asked if he ever called Sarah "Buffy," Freddie said, "Not only do I not call her [Buffy]; I have never even seen the show. She was my girlfriend, then my wife! I've never called her that, ever. We've been together longer…but we’ve been married 20 years."

13. Raven-Symoné's wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday, had never seen an episode of That's So Raven before meeting her. Raven found it "fantastic" that the person she was in a relationship with didn't really know who she was.

14. Ian Somerhalder revealed that he's never seen Twilight, despite his wife, Nikki Reed, starring as Rosalie. Although he had never sat down and watched the films, at the time, he knew a lot about them because of conversations about Twilight vs. The Vampire Diaries.

"You have to remember, Twilight hit in 2008 — I only know that because I live with Nikki — and so we rode on the coattails of that theatrical success. We were the TV version of that," he said in an interview.

15. And finally, Frankie Muniz's wife, Paige Price, didn't watch Malcolm in the Middle when it was on. Due to Frankie experiencing memory loss, he doesn't remember much of his time on the show, so he and Paige watched it together for the first time a few years ago.

"I truly could watch it as a fan because I really didn't know what was going to happen," Frankie said. “I filmed the parts I was in. I don't really know what else they filmed on the show, you know what I mean? Like, I don't know how that turned out or the other storylines."
