These Are The 10 Worst Horror Movies Ever Made In Scary Movie History

The scariest part of these movies was all the time I wasted.

1. Slender Man (2018)

Not only was it a poor choice to release the movie after the real-life events that happened, but it was also terribly done. Seriously, they had a 10-million-dollar budget, but the Slender Man costume looked like it was from Party City. That's how cheap it looked. Come to think of it, he was barely on camera. It definitely deserves its score of 8 on Rotten Tomatoes.

2. The Visit (2015)

Imagine a horror film without any horror, and you'll get this trash. Yes, the old couple was creepy at first, but every time you thought something was about to happen, nothing did. And eventually, when something finally happens, it leaves you underwhelmed. Honestly, I don't understand how anyone watching wasn't bored after the third "scary" scene.

3. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (1978)

What can I say besides I didn't even make it to the end of this movie? The jokes were just plain bad and the plot was boring...

4. Leprechaun 2 (1994)

The plot is literally just the leprechaun looking for a wife were she must sneeze without anyone saying bless you? Also the rules from the first movie don't apply at all. It even followed the unnecessary boob-shot trope.

5. A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 (1985)

Don't get me wrong, I love A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984), but the sequel is definitely skip worthy in my opinion. All that really needs to be said is Freddy Krueger slaps a butt in one scene and attends a pool party in another.

6. It Chapter Two (2019)

Something about Chapter Two just never works out. The main problem in this iteration is that it doesn't follow the book because the director thought it would make it "too sci-fi" – as if freakin' horror sci-fi doesn't exist or something? Seriously though, I hope once the kid actors grow up, they go back and do the movie right. Not to mention that Tim Curry will always be the best Pennywise.

7. Blair Witch (2016)

A shaky camera and symbols made of sticks? Groundbreaking.

8. Unfriended: Dark Web (2018)

This entire movie is just staring at a laptop screen with print so small that a magnifier would cry.

9. A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)

Get the heck out of here, Fake Freddy! You're not Robert Englund! Easily the worst Nightmare on Elm Street film ever made, this film ruined a beloved franchise by hiring a new actor to play Freddy and also making his character into a pedophile. Worst of all, look at that face makeup. It makes him look like an uglier Michael Bay ninja turtle.

10. And finally, Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008)

Twisted Pictures / Via

This one is absolutely the WORST horror movie I've ever had the displeasure of seeing. First of all, the singing definitely wasn't opera. I mean, you'd think they would hire at least one good singer but nope. I literally laughed out loud when the girl broke out in song in her bedroom. Look up the songs "Seventeen" or "Infected." The lyrics are so laughable. Like, "Why are my genetics such a b*tch?" I recommend watching it as comedy because at least then it's somewhat decent.

What are some of the worst horror movies you've ever seen? Let me know in the comments.
