Parineeti Chopra And Salman Khan Just Falsely Accused A "Bigg Boss" Contestant Of Sexual Harassment As A Prank

Several viewers are disappointed because just last week, the show gained praise for its admirable handling of a real harassment allegation.

It all started last week when contestants Upen Patel and Sonali Raut were hanging out under a blanket after the lights had gone out for the day. Another contestant, Ali Quli Mirza was also present and conversing with the couple.

At some point Ali put his hand under the blanket and stroked Sonali's knee. This angered Sonali and she accused him of being inappropriate as they weren't even close friends.

Many people and publications admired Sonali and the show for showing that any touch without consent is not okay.

This week however, it all went down the drain when Salman Khan and Parineeti Chopra decided to play a prank on Ali.

Parineeti, along with her costars from Kill Dill, Ranveer Singh and Ali Zafar, entered the "Bigg Boss" house to promote their film. They played a primetime appropriate version of the game 'Fuck, Marry, Kill' with the contestants, NBD.

After the games, they all decided to dance to old Govinda songs as he too stars in the movie. Suddenly, Parineeti accused Ali of touching her inappropriately, to which he responded that that wasn't his intent.

She proceeded to look for an escape route and quickly exited the show with her costars, leaving the housemates in confusion.

The stars of Kill Dill then joined Salman Khan and Govinda on stage where he was busy voicing his disappointment of Ali's behaviour with the women of the house, especially a guest and major actress.

After keeping Ali and the other contestants in worried suspense, Salman and Parineeti started giggling at the clever prank they played on Ali, leaving both the audience and contestants to say WTF?!?!

Predictably, viewers were disappointed in the show for making light of an issue as serious and pervasive in India as sexual harassment, especially in the wake of last week's incident which was real and handled relatively well.
