I’m a Brit and I didn’t see the meaning behind the words at age 12. I just didn’t think about it. I only became aware when watching Buffy aged 16 and she suddenly realises (herself at age 16) what Divinyls “I touch myself” meant.

I’m 27 and used floppy disks on computers from when I was three until I was 22. I didn’t use them regularly after I was 18 and at uni because files were getting too big but usb sticks were still too expensive and we had to use rewritable disks instead. A lot of my friends used floppy disks though. Amazing to think how obsolete they’ve become.
