Usher Seemingly Responds To The Keke Palmer And Darius Jackson Drama After She Was Publicly Shamed By Her Boyfriend For Showing Her "Booty Cheeks" On Stage
"I think everybody's vision or a version of what they felt happened there just leads you back to just really having a good time in Las Vegas."
If you didn't know, last month, Keke's partner, Darius Jackson, went off on his social media (formally known as Twitter), calling out the Nope actor's outfit for showing off her "booty cheeks" when she attended Usher's Las Vegas residency.
While the internet went back and forth in debate, Keke remained relatively tight-lipped about the situation, only responding with cryptic messages or selling merch with a subtle clap back phrase.
In a new interview with People, Usher opened up about the moment between him and Keke while promoting his latest single, "Good Good," which features footage from that night.
"I think everybody's vision or a version of what they felt happened there just leads you back to just really having a good time in Las Vegas. And that's what I hope came out of it," Usher said.
"Rather, it was a conversation of what was going on with us having fun in front of the audience or conversation about that song."
Usher went on about his intentions with serenading fans, celebrities or not, "Every night I'm thinking about how the world now is going to react to this moment that I'll have with whoever I'm choosing to sing to."
"But it was a pop moment, and it was fun to have at least conversation going, and we just keep it light. I don't see anything negative happening in Las Vegas."
After checking out Usher's official visualizer for "Good Good," I think the R&B crooner has no regrets about his serenade shenanigans and will continue to be a melodic menace.
