Our favorite Latinos and Latinas continuously win us over with their notable roles or catchy music, and sometimes, it's hard to remember they have private lives of their own. You might not be aware (or maybe you forgot), but these 19 Latine celebs are also parents.

1. Rosario Dawson

In a 2021 interview with Parents, Rosario Dawson said that she was 5 years old when she learned that her dad wasn't her biological father. Feeling inspired to "pay it forward," she decided to adopt her daughter Isabella, who was 11 at the time. 

2. Michael Peña

Michael Peña and his wife, Brie Shaffer, lead very private lives. So, it might come as a surprise that the Ant-Man actor has a child. In a 2018 interview with ET, Peña revealed how his son Roman changed his life. 

"It makes you more cautious," Peña said. "Like, even the way that I drive now is a little more cautious." 

3. Dascha Polanco

Her role as Dayanara Diaz on Orange Is the New Black might've put Dascha Polanco on our radars, but many people didn't know that the Dominican star was a mother of two. She has a son named Aryam and daughter named Dasany, who appeared in Season 5 of OITNB.

Puerto Rican reggaeton hitmaker Ozuna has two adorable children, Sofia and Juan, with his wife Taína Marie Meléndez. In case you missed it, his kids joined him on stage for a wholesome performance at the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Fans of Brooklyn Nine-Nine might recall Melissa Fumero's character, Amy Santiago, being pregnant twice throughout the hit sitcom. What some viewers might not know is that Fumero was actually pregnant both times. Her first pregnancy was written into a Season 3 plot line that involved Amy pretending to be a "pregnant" prison inmate. Her second pregnancy was fully written into the show as part of her character's life journey. 

Fumero shares her two sons, Enzo and Axel, with longtime love David Fumero.

Stephanie Beatriz has one child, Rosaline, with her husband, Brad Hoss. Beatriz went into labor while recording "Waiting on a Miracle" for Disney's Encanto soundtrack. “I didn’t want to tell anybody at Disney because I didn’t want anyone to freak out,” she told Variety. She gave birth the following day.
