A cool spring night in the outer banks. What lies in front is the entrance to a house. Up the stairs lies a room. A room with friends, alcohol and more... As you go up the stairs, there is an increasing electricity, and not just the volume of the music... An anticipation of the varying beauties of the scene you're about to enter. The beauty of the situation, the beauty of friendship, freedom and dance, perhaps beauty in the literal sense as well. The movie is a holiday classic because way back in the day (when it wasn't well liked at all) the owners of the copyright forgot to renew the copyright, so the film entered the public domain. When it did that, any network could air a full length movie on TV without paying anybody…Â
