Danielle Fishel Says Baby Adler Is Getting "Better And Stronger" After "Nightmare" Delivery

    "We are extremely lucky."

On July 1, Danielle Fishel and husband Jensen Karp shared an emotional update on their newborn son, Adler, who was born four weeks early.

They revealed Adler was born on June 24 with fluid in his lungs. He's been in the hospital recovering in the NICU ever since.

The next post came two weeks later, when the former Boy Meets World star gave an update on their son's health.

"We're still in the hospital but Adler is getting better and stronger every day. Jensen Karp and I keep reminding ourselves that we are extremely lucky."

Today, Danielle and Jensen shared the one piece of news they've been waiting to announce since Adler's been born: HE'S FINALLY HOME!!!

"Adler is 3 weeks old today and officially a NICU graduate! We never wanted to know this hospital and its staff so well, but now that we do, we can say with certainty there is no better place for children with medical needs."

Jensen posted the same photo with similar sentiments: "What an incredible rollercoaster of emotions that I will hang over his head for the rest of my life."

Danielle and Jensen concluded their posts by thanking all of the doctors and nurses that have been involved in their son's recovery. They also expressed gratitude for the well-wishes they've been receiving from family, friends, and fans.

"We’re so happy our son is leaving, but our hearts hang heavy for those we left behind. OK, now to be a dad in the real world..."

Danielle and Jensen plan to share more news and updates on their "miracle" baby now that he's home.
