Celebrities Responded In A Major Way After Kevin Hart Challenged Them To Donate To Hurricane Harvey Victims

    Simply amazing!

Hurricane Harvey hit Houston and nearby towns recently, bringing more than 49 inches of rainfall and causing unprecedented flooding.

Millions of people around the world are standing in solidarity to support those affected by the devastating aftermath of this natural disaster.

Including some of Hollywood's biggest celebrities. Overwhelmed with disbelief, Kevin Hart teamed up with the American Red Cross to create the Hurricane Harvey Relief Challenge.

He called on a few of his famous friends, like Beyoncé, Dwayne Johnson, and Justin Timberlake, to donate $25K to the fund.

"I think we've all participated in challenges on the Internet, some meaningful, some meaningless. At this point, I'm going to start a real challenge. I'm challenging a lot of my celebrity friends to follow my lead by donating $25K to Hurricane Harvey and the Red Cross."

The 38-year-old Philadelphia native then challenged a few more celebs:

And it didn't take long for the responses to pour in:

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson sent in his donation and is working with his own personal companies to help the relief efforts in Texas.

    DJ Khaled:

    Nicki Minaj:

    Drake:

The Kardashian and Jenner family made a $500K donation to the American Red Cross and The Salvation Army:

    Wendy Williams:

And Beyoncé released this statement to The Houston Chronicle regarding her donation to her native city:

My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help ... I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor (Rudy Rasmus at St. John's in downtown Houston) to implement a plan to help as many as we can.

There were also some who happily made a donation, but preferred it to be used by a different organization other than the American Red Cross, like T.I.:

And Chris Brown, who donated $100K:

But these weren't the only stars lending a helping hand during this tragic time. Many stepped out on their own to help the cause:
