The "Taina" Theme Song Is The Greatest TV Theme Song Of All-Time

    And that's a fact.

I woke up this morning in my normal state of existential dread.

I put my face on, hopped in the car, and went on my merry f*cking way to work.

I got to work and struck up conversation with my younger co-workers, they are like Gellenials or idk whatever they're called, when the topic of the greatest TV theme songs came up.

Naturally, as a person with taste, I mentioned "Taina."

That's when to my shock and disgust, this 22-year-old I was talking to had never heard the "Taina" theme song.

    As Rihanna once said:

I am here to educate all of you *not in the know* about the greatest television theme song of all-time.

The theme song starts with the, as I say it, the "Taina" heard round the world: "Taaaainaaa," "Taaaaaainaaa."

Then we get a glimpse of Miss Taina herself. She exits the 50th Street Subway station to proclaim that she is going to be a star.

She says her name twice: "Taina" and "Taina."

    "Taaaaina, Taaaaina."

Then suddenly she sees her name in lights.

No one is going to stop her. You'll see. What's her name?

She wears an iconic rubbery red thing.

    "Taina, Taina."

    Legend.

And, surprisingly, I'm not the only one who thinks this!

This person will remember it until they die.

I know for a fact I've maybe seen two episodes of the 90s show Taina but I guess that theme song is just something I'm going to remember until I die

    This person "doesn't care, it's a bop."

I still faithfully bump the Taina theme song. Idc it was a bop

And this person wonders what happened to Taina period...

Whatever happened to that TV show "Taina"?.....the theme song is stuck in my head -__- its amazing how I still remember the words!

Sadly, the show was only on for two seasons so Taina never got to be a real star. Sorry. She'll live on forever replaying "Taina Taina" over and over in all of our heads for literally ever.
