Apparently Everyone's Parents Told Them It Was Illegal To Drive With The Light On In The Car

A conspiracy theory all of us believed.

We were taught a lot of really dumb things growing up.

We were conditioned to think that quicksand would be an everyday issue.

did anyone else grow up thinking quicksand would be like a major problem in life or am i just weird

We thought piranha attacks were inevitable.

Did anyone else grow up thinking piranha attacks were gonna be a more frequent problem in life

That it would just, like, constantly be acid raining.

Did anyone else grow up thinking acid rain was going to be a much bigger problem in your daily life our was that just me

Basically everything was going to kill us.

Growing up I really thought the Bermuda Triangle was going to have a much more detrimental affect on my life

But there was one universal lie our parents told us.

Growing up our parents said it was illegal to drive with the light on in the car.

And let me tell you:

It must have been printed in some parent manual or something because it's a universal thing.

Growing up I thought it was illegal to turn on this light when my parents were driving

Everyone's parents told them the same thing.

growing up I thought it was illegal to switch the light on while the car is driving..I feel used

That it was a "much bigger issue than it actually is."

Growing up my parents made me believe that someone turning a light on in the car while I’m driving was going to be a much bigger issue in my life than it actually is.

So yeah, turn the light on the car if you'd like.

Turning the light on in the car while driving was against the law... #LiesYourParentsToldYou

Your parents are huge liars that can't be trusted.
