Her viral rise to fame started JUST before the pandemic in February 2020 when a comedian named Kevin Freshwater approached an unassuming woman on the subway to finish the lyrics to Lady Gaga's "Shallow."
That was February 19, 2020 since Charlotte Awbery sang Shallow, 2 years na pala yorn.
On February 18, 2020 that video blew up.
This guy challenged strangers to ‘finish the lyrics’ and this woman passing by started belting out Shallow like she was performing at the Oscars, literally flawless 😭 📹: Kevin Freshwater

time has seriously lost its meaning in 2020 because I cannot believe this happened this year
But now I'm here to tell you what Charlotte has been up to.
She's been busy!
In September 2021, Charlotte released her first original single "One & Only."
She's also been regularly posting covers on her Instagram.
I particularly like this "I Put A Spell On You" one.
She's been slaying the fashion game.
No big deal, just queen shit.
Last year, she met Emma Thompson.
And she also submitted a song for Eurovision.
Charlotte Awbery (she went viral a couple of years ago singing Shallow on the underground in one of those ‘finish the lyric’ videos) has sent a song for Eurovision!
In February 2023, Charlotte appeared to be back in the studio.
And last week, on International Women's Day, she sang a rendition of "Diamonds" for all the ladies out there.
It seems like another dimension when this video went viral, but it appears she's doing well.
