Ah, good ol' Hootie! This song — and pretty much all of _Cracked Rear View_ — played at just about every party back in college, and it brings back lots of beer-soaked memories with your buds. And while you might not blast it much any more, it'll always have a place in your heart.

"Hold my Hand" by Hootie and the Blowfish

You may not have had two tables and a microphone, but you definitely had this song and the rest of _Odelay_ on constant rotation. Often you got, shall we say, "silly," and giggled your head off at the wacky stuff Beck put in his songs, like the guy saying, "Let's make it ours, baby." Good times!

"Where It's At" by Beck

Mike D, MCA, and Ad-Rock blew the top off with this song (and made one of the greatest videos of all time too). You'd slip this one into your CD player and it would pump you up like nothing else! Remember driving around, blasting this with your friends? Those were some of your best memories from college.

"Sabatoge" by The Beastie Boys

Oh man, how many times did this song play when you were getting ready to go out? This track was just fun — and so was everything about The Spice Girls! You were definitely feeling the girl power and even went to their movie, didn't you? When you hear "Wannabe" now, nothing but amazing memories come flooding back.

This song — and pretty much all of _Jagged Little Pill_ — was your soundtrack for a while in college. You'd dealt with a lot of bullshit with crappy guys, and Alanis' primal howl totally expressed what you were feeling. Looking back, nothing could make you stop loving this song — not even knowing that it was about Dave Coulier!

"You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morissette

"Don't go jumping Waterfalls..." Just reading those words put the song in your head, didn't it? T-Boz, Left Eye, and Chilli really nailed it with this song, which was so, so versatile. Chill mood? Play "Waterfalls." Ready to party, play "Waterfalls." Getting, uh, romantic? Play "Waterfalls!" Today, when you hear it, you can't help but smile from ear to ear.
