Response to 10 Things Tarot Master Stuart Südekum Taught Us About The World’s Most Famous Tarot Deck:
Well, more than a fallacies in this article about fallacies need clearing up. The first tarot decks are from the 15th, not 14th century. There is no Masonic imagery in traditional tarots. How is the 3 of Swords related to the Virgin Mary? Never heard that before. “Tarot cards actually have many biblical ties despite what one would think due to how mystical they are.” Of course they have Biblical ties—they emerged from Medieval/Early Renaissance Christian Europe. The Golden Dawn’s Book T was not written by Waite, and it was not a Masonic text, as the Golden Dawn was not a Masonic lodge (though some of its members were Masons). Etc. Etc.
