"This is my last resort" —Papa Roach and these reviewers
Promising review: "These are amazing! I purchased these as a last resort before putting our pit mix on very $$ allergy pills. We had already changed her diet multiple times and tried various OTC allergy meds, but she was still very pink and itching constantly. I saw an article on BuzzFeed about these and thought, 'Why not?' A couple of reviewers said to give it two weeks to see results so we went in with that mentality. Within 48 hours, our white pit mix was WHITE with barely any pink! Her itching was very minimal and she had way more energy than needed. I felt bad giving her these 'treats' and not our other dog, a blue heeler/beagle mix, so she got them too. This 14-year-old dog has some get up and go again! These have helped her joints and energy level. Highly recommend." —Darla Robinson

Promising review: "Bought these because for some reason someone in my household decided to clean the dishwasher using bleach. If you don't know, cleaning the dishwasher with bleach does not, in fact, leave your dishes sparkling clean — it leaves a bleach-y film on all your stuff that won't come off, even with repeat washes. I don't know about anyone else, but I have no interest in drinking from a cup that still has bleach residue on it. This was a last resort, and it worked! Bleach film be gone! On top of that, they were very affordable. I'm very pleased!" —Sarah

Promising review: "I have had permanent tubes in my ears since I was 9 years old because I was so prone to ear infections as a child. As a result, when I get wax buildup, I can't flush my ears out with water like other people. If I do that, water gets trapped behind my ear drum and I get and ear infection. I am also not wild about the idea of digging around in my ear because I'm afraid of dislodging the tubes or of doing something else horrible. So I decided to try these drops as a last resort before going to see an ENT to get them cleaned out. My left ear had been completely blocked for about 10 days or so, and it only took one 15 minute soak for it to open up." —LunchWithLions

Promising review: "I do not normally review products, but I have several expensive briefcases that I do not use because they keep sliding off my shoulder. Over the last few months I have tried several no-slip straps as replacements with no success. As a last resort I tried the Strap Gummy and I can’t believe how great they work. They are perfect! My existing Tumi briefcase with the original strap that I could not use before now stays on my shoulder and I do not need to fuss with it." —Mrezz

Promising review: "I’ve had a flaky, snowy scalp since middle school and I’m in my twenties now. Sometimes it was mild, other days it was crushingly embarrassingly. I’ve tried OTC dandruff shampoos, prescription shampoo from my derm (expensive and temporary results), apple cider vinegar (nothing), honey (nothing and messy), supplements, and avoiding any heat and stress. My last hope was either that tar shampoo from Neutrogena or this. I went big and got this. And no kidding, it worked on the first try!!! Really go slow and massage every area of your scalp with this. I no longer have flakes and my scalp looks healthier than it’s ever been! I only use once a week now to maintain cause I get buildup again when I stopped using it but I’m so dang happy! No effect on hair loss for me. I think it actually decreased my loss as it fixed my scalp. I actually love the smell. And I find it non-drying out of everything I’ve tried. Give it a shot. It changed my life and I can finally let someone else cut my hair." —gao

Promising review: "I have debilitating tendonitis and bursitis in my left foot. I've had this severe pain for years that has drastically increased in recent months. I see a podiatrist for this issue and have been given a medical brace (does nothing) and several cortisone shots IN MY FOOT (does nothing). We have also been looking at possible surgery (might still need at some point). The thing is I'm a heavy 35-year-old with wide feet and this pain is so severe I've had to use a motorized scooter at Disney World. I become unable to walk after about 30–45 minutes of walking in good walking shoes. My family and I are on vacation in the mountains and this is the first time I've really been able to put this to REAL use, you know...COVID and all. We have hiked, climbed and walked for extended periods of time and I have felt no pain! There was a couple of occasions where once we got back to our hotel room and I removed the band the pain showed up, I believe this was possibly the result of the band having been on the wrong spot of my foot by my own error. HOWEVER, in that case it was a fraction of the normal pain I've been living with. I could go on and on, I ended up buying this as a last resort, a final hope. I'm so glad I did. This product has been an absolute life saver!!" —The Deans

Promising review: "This tool is amazing. This was a last resort for me. I have been dealing with stones for years and my crypts are getting so deep, I could not find anything effective enough in getting the stones out. This is the answer I have been waiting for! The lighted tool got stones out that have festered for almost a year (can you imagine?) and the rinsing syringe got stones I didn't even know were there. My confidence level skyrocketed as soon as they came out. Now I feel like I can get close to people again!!" —SpaLady

Promising review: "I cannot express how thrilled I am with this roller. After many years with a beat up old minivan, we bought a brand new, all-options, souped up black minivan. It is gorgeous inside except for the fact that my daughter’s long red hair and my dog’s short blonde fur stuck to the carpet mats and literally would not come off. Our home vacuum, the car wash vacuums, and a carpet brush did not even touch it. It was stuck to all of my mats. As I last resort I bought this. Oh my heavens! My mats are completely clear and they are back to black instead of fuzzy and hairy!!!! Additionally my 9-year-old loves to use it. She can operate it easily and easily dump the hair as well! I LOVE this thing!!!!!!" —Julie G

These are hands down the best pimple patches I’ve ever used. Why? Because they actually work. IMO they work best on whiteheads, drawing out the pus and preventing me from picking. Once all the fluids are drained (yum!), I plop a patch on what was once home to a very angry whitehead and replace it twice a day (once in the morning and once at night). In my experience, that has been the best treatment for preventing really noticeable hyperpigmentation and acne scarring, which my skin is really prone to after breakouts.
Promising review: "I have been experiencing terrible cystic acne. I also am a stress picker. I decided to get these as a last resort to avoid any more acne scars and it was the best purchase I have ever made. I put these on some really painful zits before bed and when I woke up they were gone! They literally suck all of the grossness out of my zits. I don’t want to say it was like magic but it was pretty much magic." —Demetria Olsen

Promising review: "This lived up to the hype. I've had a fabric couch for less than a year and was starting to see quite a bit of pulling already. I tried using a razor to remove them, but it was pretty ineffective. I ordered this as a last resort and WOW! All it took was five minutes and my couch looks brand new again. The adjustable sizer worked great and I love that there is a little removable compartment for the shavings. I'll be using this for my clothes as well. This was such a great purchase." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I've never had dry skin problems before but developed dry patches under my eyes recently. I tried several types of eye cream — so far nothing has helped except Vaseline, which is incredibly greasy. I ordered this as a last resort before going to the dermatologist and it worked miracles!! This is creamy, light, non-greasy, goes on smooth, and gave my eyes instant relief — and it goes great under makeup. I use just a dab under each eye morning and night and it has fixed my dryness, which was starting to turn red and sting painfully. I love the natural ingredients, and have seen a slight reduction in dark circles as well. When I wake up in the morning my eyes look and feel smooth and fresh." —annev

Promising review: "I repotted a bunch of plants a few months ago only to discover that my new potting soil was infested with the most annoying fungus gnats. I’ve been battling them pretty unsuccessfully ever since. I tried neem oil, a rubbing alcohol soil drench, and gnat spray to no avail. I tried these as a general last resort. I set them up on a few of the worst-hit plants, went about my day, and within an hour they were already starting to catch multiple bugs. And major props to the reviewer who mentioned Garden Safe spray. Ever since I sprayed my plants last week and set up these sticky stakes I’ve only seen one single bug flying around my plants after they were basically swarming a few days earlier. Fingers crossed the gnat tides are turning in my favor thanks to these products!" —Julianne

Promising review: "This little vacuum is amazing! I have three cats and my purple couches were starting to look white in some of their favorite nap spots. I have used every brush, sticky roller, and mitt on the market to try to tackle the pet hair but it quickly became a losing battle. This little machine was my last resort and I'm kicking myself for not buying it sooner! My couches look brand new and I'm 100% satisfied! I'd recommend this to anyone!!!" —lacy

Promising review: "I am Asian and my natural eyelashes are short and sparse. I started getting lash perms to try to make them more visible and they ended up getting even more sparse! I tried this out as a last resort to get long lashes (I really don't like the idea of lash extensions) and there was a money back guarantee so I figured there wasn't much risk. I knew it would take 6–8 weeks of consistent application for the product to work, but the process is super easy and I've just been integrating it into my night routine. Also, no irritation from this product around my eyes, which is a huge bonus because I have sensitive eyes/eyelids. To be honest, I didn't think this was working until all of my friends started commenting on my eyelashes and asking if they were fake. Every time I would see someone that I hadn't seen in a while, they would ask me where I got my lashes done or what mascara I was using. I REALLY noticed the change when I randomly took a photo and I was shocked at how much my lashes had grown. I'm assuming the growth is just gradual and slow, which is why I didn't notice immediately." —Chelsea

I have tried other brushes on the stain but as a last ditch effort ordered this one. Although it's not 100% gone, it's not noticeable unless you are looking for it! That was just my first try to I plan on continuing and hopefully all will be gone." —natmpetty

Promising review: "I bought this as a last resort two years ago in my losing battle with melasma on my face from BC pills. I had several areas of melasma that were very pronounced. After only a couple weeks I noticed a difference. After a couple months the spots that had been plaguing me for two years were gone. I tried everything to get rid of the melasma discoloration and nothing worked until this. I cannot say enough good things about this. It also faded some scars I had on my legs and has diminished fine lines on my face. I love the smell and yes it is a bit greasy — it is an oil after all — but if you use just a little and give it time to absorb you can easily use it under makeup. I also have acne-prone skin and I have never had a breakout because of this. If you need a product to fade scars, discolorations, even fine lines, this is definitely the product. This size with daily use lasts me more than six months! A great buy." —nicbytheocean

They're safe to use with pretty much any type of washer: HE or regular, top-loading and front-loading.
Promising review: "I was so close to getting my entire washer replaced because of the putrid smell coming from the water discharge. I tried many ways to clean the washer including using vinegar and baking soda on the hottest setting my machine would allow, but the smell won't go away. This was my last resort in attempting to rid the washer of the smell and it actually worked! This saved me a thousand dollars and having to throw away a working washer. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a clean washer." —Daniel C. Yeo

Rocco & Roxie is a family-owned small business named after the Magleby family's pets Rocco, a labradoodle, and Roxie, a former shelter tabby cat. They make a variety of pet supplies, including cleaners, treats, grooming tools, accessories, and toys.
Promising review: "I researched so many pet stain removers and finally found THE ONE! My cat stayed spraying near the windows and doors after a stray started coming around and stalking in the windows from outside. The smell was horrible! I tried vinegar, baking soda, Out! pet spray (worst decision!), Servpro carpet cleaning, and Febreeze. Oh and burning candles! Nothing worked so this was my last resort. I finally don't notice the pungent smell of cat piss! And this product smells fresh. Even used it on an old and new barf stain on white carpet that my older cat made. It took the stain out completely. Seriously will never use any other product, thank you!!" —Jennifer

Promising review: "I never knew how satisfying a 'zap' sound can be. We got this item because I started gardening at my mother-in-law’s house but there’s still standing water in areas that I can’t get to so I needed a way to protect myself from those bites. Sprays = sticky. Candles = never really had much successful with those. So my third resort was this. Does it do the job? TOTALLY especially in the evening when all the little bugs fly towards the light. There would be a pile of dead bugs every night." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I was looking for a product to remove the antiperspirant buildup and stains from my T-shirts and work shirts. I figured I'd try this out as a last resort before buying new shirts. This product is awesome. It works as advertised. The pit stains and associated smell that would never go away, even after scrubbing them with white vinegar, are completely gone. I'm very thankful not to have to buy new shirts every year or two anymore. Because my shirts were badly stained I saturated the affected areas, let them sit for an hour, scrubbed them with a stiff bristle brush to agitate the soap and break down the layers of build up, and washed them in hot water as directed. Only took one treatment. Even on white cotton T-shirts and dress shirts. Amazing. The fact that it's made from natural plant extracts is also a big benefit compared to using other commercial products with harsh chemicals, and definitely worth paying a little extra for. I used it on a carpet stain my dog left for me over the weekend and it was just as effective and color safe as it was on my shirts. Now after every use I just spray a little under each arm of my shirts before I wash them to prevent the stains and smell from coming back. No more worries. Will continue to buy this product and others from Puracy in the future." —M. Barry - Auburn, WA

Promising review: "I actually can’t believe this worked! A horse trailer took a sharp turn and hit my car. Luckily there was no damage but the trailer transferred paint onto my vehicle and no matter how hard I scrubbed it wouldn’t come off. I bought this as a last ditch effort and it took about 95% of the offending marks off. It would have been 100% except I got tired from scrubbing and had to take a break. Promising review: "These are the best supplements for your plants. My plant was dying and had lost most of its leaves. I didn't want to re-pot it because the plant had already grown from this tiny little six-inch countertop plant to a monster. But I didn't want it to die either. Buying this was a last-ditch effort to save this guy and it worked! The fertilizer sticks are easy to use; you just push them into the soil and water. Your plants will flourish once you start feeding them these little guys. I highly recommend this product for happy healthy plants and for plant owners that don't want to re-pot!" —Crystal
