    1. A tub of brightening, firming, and rejuvenating eye cream so you look vibrant and well-rested.

Different reviewer's progression photo showing their eye bags disappearing over time

Promising review: "I have been using this daily for about eight months now. I am 60 years old. It reduced the puffiness and bags under my eyes. I am Sicilian and had dark circles. It has brightened up my eye area. I am very surprised as I have paid much more for eye creams that have done so much less. I recently had pre-cancerous cells removed at the bridge of my nose. After healing, I was left with a dark scar. The dermatologist told me that it would heal over time. Since I began to apply this eye cream, the mark has almost disappeared entirely. I shop constantly from Amazon. This is the first time that I have taken the time to write a review. That's how impressed I am with this product. If you decide to purchase this, you won't be sorry." —Lynda M.

Get it from Amazon for $29.99.

    2. A powerful snail repair cream that'll brighten dull skin, fade discoloration, add plumpness. Snail mucin extract is a popular ingredient in K-beauty products and is rich in hyaluronic acid (hydrates) and glycolic acid (stimulates collagen production).

Promising review: "I'm 55 years old and my skin is a bit sensitive. I don't have a lot of wrinkles, but I'm definitely noticing a few more laugh lines and forehead crinkles than I had a few years ago! I've tried several moisturizers and have not been terribly impressed with any of them until now. This stuff really is great — incredibly hydrating without feeling greasy and it absorbs quickly. It feels great on my skin. In just a few short weeks, I definitely notice an improvement in my skin tone and fewer lines and wrinkles! Plus, the customer service is great. I had questions when I first received the product and got followup response immediately. I will definitely be ordering this product again. I use it in the evening and morning; no need for two different moisturizers. Very pleased!" —sbakey

Get it from Amazon for $17.95.

    3. A multi-use skincare oil to help you wave bye bye to uneven skin, stretch marks, and acne scars. It helps your body retain moisture (see ya later, dry skin!) and absorbs into the skin fast so you won't feel greasy.

Psst! Bio-Oil contains retinol, which accelerates skin turnover but can make you more sensitive to the sun — so don't forget your sunscreen!

Promising review: "Bio-Oil is the BEST skin product on the market. I use it twice a day — morning and before I go to bed. Small lines have disappeared. My skin is very smooth and seems to glow. A doctor recommended this to one of my friends who told me about it. I have bought several bottles as gifts. Be patient. It will take a few months for you to see notice the changes. I am 71 years old. No one paid me to write this." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "Just used this amazing little razor on my face for the first time and I am hooked! Before and after showing the scrub evened reviewer's skin tone and helped get rid of breakouts on their cheek and chin

Promising review: "I used to bake in the sun in the mid-'70s to early '80s. Blisters on my cheeks and I would be back out with baby oil. I have used Botox twice when I was in my mid-30s but could not handle the pain. I attribute my lack of wrinkles on my face (I do have some crows feet on the side of my eyes and some bags under my eyes) to this exfoliant. I swear it takes off about five layers of skin. Anyway, I am sure wrinkles are in the not-too-distant future but I thought I would share." —Deby P

    7. A refreshing Mario Badescu rosewater facial spray so you can start your skincare stash with something you basically can't use incorrectly. It revives and hydrates your skin anytime, anywhere, whether that's after a grueling workout or three hours on the couch.

    8. A cruelty free vitamin C serum that'll give your skin a much-needed pick-me-up. Just listen to the 51,000+ people who gave it a 5-star review: this stuff brightens, softens, and dramatically fades hyperpigmentation.

Promising review: "This serum is just as amazing as everyone says it is. I am 67 years old, and I have light melasma on both of my cheekbones. I have done *everything* to get rid of it (microdermabrasion, other serums, clarisonic exfoliation, and on and on ad nauseam). I wear SPF 50–70 on my face 365 days a year, and I've done that for decades. I also drink a lot of water. It looked as good as it was going to get. Now, my skin looks even better, and the melasma has never been lighter. Overall, my skin tone just looks very even and smooth. Every morning when I look in the mirror at my face, I marvel at how smooth it looks for my age. This is such a terrific product. I just finished my first bottle and I'm on to my second one!" —Rabid Reader

Get it from Amazon for $19.99.

    9. Embryolisse, a cult-favorite French moisturizing cream to hydrate, protect, soothe, and nourish your skin. (It's been with you after all these years, so give it the pampering it deserves.) Makeup artists also use it as a primer, so consider this a 2-for-1 value purchase.

Promising review: "So far I am loving this lotion. I put in on every morning under my makeup and it leaves my face perfectly moisturized all day long. I also noticed I use less foundation because it’s so moisturizing. I don’t believe there is any miracle moisturizer that will ever get rid of our crows feet, laugh lines, neck sagging, etc. but this moisturizer helps reduce the look of these problems as long as they’re not deep surface. I’m 68 years old and never was someone who was a 'sun worshipper' and, fortunately, stopped smoking in 1980 after smoking for 15 years. Those two things do a lot of damage to your skin, so to all young women reading this who are doing these two things, take it from me, if you want to retain healthy, youthful skin, stop these too harmful habits. Use sunscreen when you are in the sun and use moisturizer now. Embryolisse seems to be a good place to start!" —Janet Cahill

Get it from Amazon for $16.

    10. An acne patch for those days when a pimple pops up at the *worst* possible moment. Hydrocolloid, tea tree oil, and calendula oil are gentle on the skin while still drawing out fluids and pus from your pimple.

Reviewer photo of square acne patch that is filled with pimple discharge
Reviewer photo of cheeks with dark red acne scars and breakouts
Same reviewer's cheeks, which are now a more even skin tone and free of almost all breakouts

Promising review: "These are the best. I’m 65 years old and still experience frequent breakouts. Pop on one of these and your zit heals in half the time. The package has several different sizes so you can use really small ones for average pimples or on small places like the tip of your nose. It also comes with big ones for those zits that look like a light in the middle of your forehead. They’re practically invisible so you can wear them during the day." —Terry L. Burgess

    11. A hyaluronic acid serum if you're looking for a simple, surefire way to inject your face with intense hydration. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant, meaning it draws in moisture from its surroundings. The result = plumper, softer, smoother, more hydrated skin.,

Promising review: "This hyaluronic acid serum is really great. I had my doubts in the beginning, so that night I put two drops on, pressed it into my face, and went to bed. I am 64 years old so I have my share of wrinkles but when I looked in the mirror, my wrinkles were softer, my entire face was softer and smooth. I will continue to use this serum it is great stuff!" —Vicki

Get it from Amazon for $13.

    12. A cuticle oil because too many gel manis have destroyed your nails. Sweet almond oil, vitamin E, and jojoba soften the cuticle and strengthen your claws so you'll be proud to show them off.

Promising review: "I was skeptical that this would do anything for my fragile nails. Four months later I'm stunned that my nails are not chipping and peeling like they used to, and even the ridges are diminishing. When I look at the quarter-inch or so of growth from the nail bed that has occurred since I started using this product, I see nice smooth healthy nails. I can't wait to see what they look like several months from now when the entire nail has had a chance to grow out. I apply the oil all around the nail including under the tips of the nails before I go to bed most nights and massage it in while I watch the evening news. It is good to know nice nails are not a thing of the past even though I'm over 50 year old." —All His 247

Get it from Amazon for $8.50.

    13. A soothing multipurpose oil blend so you can lock in moisture instead of using approximately 50 million products that say they hydrate your skin...and then don't. Its gentle formula won't irritate rosacea, psoriasis, or eczema, but it will help you say goodbye to dry skin and frizzy hair.

Promising review: "I am a 51-year-old male that has been suffering with embarrassing dry flaky skin on my face. I tried putting different lotions and even coconut oil on my face to no avail. The lotion was ineffective and the coconut oil gave me red skin as I was apparently allergic to it. I have used this product now for two weeks and I am amazed at how much better my face is. The dry skin is gone. Like some other reviewers, I agree that the smell is strong but it fades fairly quickly. I'm happy with my purchase." —Cooperboy22

Get it from Amazon for $14.99.

    14. A box of pore-tightening, skin-lifting face masks that'll truly terrify you, first because you'll look like a zombie once you've applied it, and second because it's so darn effective at reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

Promising review: "At 60 years old I have tried SO MANY products...anything short of surgery to lift and tighten my face. Around the age of 57 my pores became larger and larger. I tried product after product and spent hundreds trying to find that fountain of youth. There is nothing like going into a store with sales people younger than my grandchildren telling me what I'm doing 'wrong' with my skin care regime. They had never seen a wrinkle in their lives. I thought I would give this face mask a shot. I mean what did I have to lose? Immediate results! I couldn't believe it! My pores were small; my face was different...and in a good I can't believe my skin looks so good. I'm so excited. I had to write a review. I don't think you'll be sorry if you decide to try this. I know I sure wasn't!" —Judi Bragg

    15. A CeraVe foaming cleanser to remove dirt, oils, makeup, and other nasties from your skin without drying or stripping your face.

Before and after of reviewer who used the cleanser showing that it evened their skin tone, improved texture, and made their skin glow

Promising review: "This, without a doubt, is the best line of products for the skin ever created. I came by it by accident while I was clearing out a closet of medical supplies following my mother's death. Rather than toss the unopened bottles I decided to use them. Glad I did. I am a 63-year-old woman and I swear my skin feels like it once did when I was in my 20s. The products are light, non-oily and without a fragrance of their own, which will not interfere with any scent I choose to wear. I am a fan." —B. G. Young

Get it from Amazon for $15.99.

    16. A plumping, glow-enhancing, pH-balancing K-beauty essence for rehydrating your face, and prepping your skin so it's ready to drink up all the benefits of your moisturizer.

before photo of a reviewer with red and irritated-looking skin, and an after photo of the same person three months later and their skin looks glowier and less red

Promising review: "I was actually hesitant to buy this product because I figured it could just be hyped up fancy water. It is NOT. For me, at least, it is a miracle in a bottle! I LOVE this stuff and never want to be without it! Why, you ask? Let me explain. For the past few years I’ve suffered from dry, flaky, rough skin. I had found some products that would help to some degree, but none that would eliminate the problem. The flakes would make my foundation look so bad even with a primer that I gave up wearing makeup altogether. Well, when I tried another product in this line (the snail repair cream), I noticed a BIG difference. Almost all the flakes gone and I could wear makeup again without looking like a desiccated monster. HOWEVER, when I added this product to my regimen? Holy guacamole, Batman! My skin is SO soft, hydrated and SMOOTH! My foundation (well, CC cream but whatever) goes on like a dream! The two products together worked wonders BUT even when I use this product alone with absolutely nothing else (out of sheer laziness, mind you). My skin still looks dewy, smooth, hydrated and glowing! I’m sold! I’m 51 years old by the way and beginning menopause. So, this is not the testimonial of some young little thing who suffered a minor bout of dryness. Oh no! My case of itchy dryness and awful flakes was no easy nut to crack. No fancy, glorified, dressed-up water would have made one bit of difference, I can promise you that! I don’t know what’s in this stuff but it’s AMAZING! Could not recommend highly enough. If I could give it 10 stars I would. It even helps keep my normally dry, chapped, peeling lips baby smooth! Life changing, I tell ya." —M. Joiner

    17. A luxurious oil-based cleansing balm if you're looking for a new makeup remover that actually loosens waterproof mascara or are just starting your double cleaning routine. A major benefit of oil-based cleansers is that they attract the oils and debris already on your skin but are uber gentle and won't leave your skin feeling tight and stripped. (And because it needs to be said — you absolutely can use an oil-based cleanser if you have oily skin.)

Promising review: "My skincare routine was to wash with soap every morning while in the shower. I decided to put some effort into it and bought this product based on something I saw on Facebook. I AM IMPRESSED. I have used this twice a day for two months and just finished my first jar. My 52-year-old skin noticeably improved after less than a month. I don't even use foundation anymore, just concealer. Maybe any product would work for me since I was ignoring my skin, but I have to say, this one worked wonders and I made sure to buy a new jar before this one ran out. 10/10 would recommend." —lemonjuicer

This is my second bottle, and I've signed up for auto delivery every two months. Fragrance free, cooling feel, lightweight. I completely love this stuff. I'm 51 years old and have a severe skin allergy to synthetic fragrance and additives in facial/skin products. I'm also so tired of serums that pill when applying foundation over them. This one doesn't! Seriously, you cannot go wrong buying Corsx products, and this one is my favorite so far." —L. Miller

I use it every other night and my wrinkles are diminishing. Within a week I could see a difference. I'm going on one month of use as I write this and my 'before' picture, when I place my 'now' picture next to it...WOW! My skin is smoother, my pores are diminishing, my crows feet are almost non-existent, and the lines around my lips are diminishing beautifully. I'm 54 years old. This product will always be a part of my routine. I can't tell you how nice it is to try a product and it do what it says it will do. This is a must-try for any age." —Bobkat

    22. Differin, a once daily topical retinoid for acne that hasn't responded to any other treatments. It contains adapalene, a retinoid that unclogs pores and speeds cell turnover so acne doesn't even have a chance to form.

before photo of a reviewer's dark red and inflamed cheek and jawline acne
the same reviewer after using the retinoid for a few weeks and their acne is almost totally gone

Promising review: "This stuff is great! For whatever reason, I began having cystic acne. At 51, I thought I was done with breakouts. And they were taking weeks and months to go away. Within a week of using this, several are completely gone, and what is left is almost gone. I have a little bit of drying where I was breaking out and the healing is taking place, but I will happily put up with that. I will be back for more. It works better than the retinoid I bought for $75!!" —Stacey Hall

Frankly, I've thrown out almost all other moisturizers. I use this product for my arms, my legs, my feet, my hands, my cuticles, and my face. Oh, yes, and when there is still some left on my hands I run it through my hair, just enough to help tame my frizz. It's light; it absorbs quickly. Fragrance free is a plus for me. I use this once a week on average, and they leave my skin extremely soft! I am 59 years old and have pretty decent skin for my age (never tanned much after my early 20s) but these have definitely made a difference. Promising review: "I am 70 years old and have sensitive skin. I have fought blackheads and enlarged pores into my 70s. My skin has enlarged pores, and no matter how much I scrubbed all I succeeded in doing was irritating and reddening my skin. My son and daughter-in-law have beautiful skin and I learned about this product over Christmas when my son asked for it as a stocking stuffer. It is a magic bullet. It is A M A Z I N G. After three days my skin was smoother and blackheads on my T-zone disappeared. Don’t wait if you have clogged, enlarged pores. It is a game changer even for older folk. I put some on a cotton pad and stick the wet pads on problem spots when I go to bed. Next morning the pores are unclogged and invisible." —tn8clady

Promising review: "I am a 65-year-old man and for 20 years I have experienced dry and flaking skin on my forehead and brow mostly. I have used a few different products that gave some relief but had some qualities that were lacking as well. I decided to try the CeraVe since I am shopping from home so much more due to COVID-19. The reviews were good and the price seemed great for such a large quantity so decided to take a chance. I've used it a couple months now and it is hands down the best thing I have ever used for the purpose. I dampen my skin slightly and apply it in very small amounts and it's good for the whole day. I haven't had any dryness, flaking or buildup at all, and the skin feels soft and looks natural. No other product has done as well for me. Sometimes I forget to apply it on a day off but there is still some benefit from the previous application. I could not be happier with this." —Rick Clark

This is our low-priced pick for best makeup remover!

Promising review: "I recently tried this micellar water as a cleanser after my skin reacted badly to a bout of very warm and humid weather. I was getting breakouts in places where I'd never had them before. I also have very sensitive skin, so can't use stronger anti-acne formulations. Well, I am extremely pleased with this formula. It removes every bit of dirt and makeup from my skin and leaves it soft and moist. My breakouts are starting to improve (after only a few days) and my skin has never felt nicer or more comfortable to live in. Since my 60-year-old skin still tends toward the oily side, I don't even have to put moisturizer on, considering the warm/humid weather we've been having, and it does not feel dry or tight. It normally does feel dry and tight after cleansing with anything else. I like the purity of using this product and not needing to pile on the creams afterward. I still opt to use eye cream, but I can skip some of the other creams and my skin is very happy now. And oh, BTW, the breakouts are clearing up, too. I haven't been this happy with a skin product for years." —farmkiti

    29. A bottle of rosehip oil if your skin has lost its glow. Its antioxidants and fatty acids may help brighten dark spots and restore your skin's plumpness. Use it on your face, nails, and body for scrumdiddlyumptious results.

Promising review: "When I got it, I immediately washed my face and slathered this on. I know I should have waited until before bed but I was excited to try this one. The color is much darker than the other brand. The smell is about the same, kind of earthy, but not unpleasant. After a few hours, it had soaked into my skin very well. I am 51 years old and have some light wrinkles around my eyes and forehead, and old acne scarring. I also have menopausal/hormonal acne coupled with dry spots. Right now my skin feels like 'butter' as my teen daughter puts it. I had several aggravated/dry/kinda-scabby spots that have calmed down and I swear, actually feel smoother. Like the scabby parts disappeared. I also have a bit of that old lady chest thing going on, in spite of sunscreen. (I work outside delivering mail.) And I don't know if it's real, but that looks smoother too! I'm excited to see the long-term results!" —Angela Lopez

Promising review: "I have been using this rosewater/witch hazel spray for about six months. It is super hydrating! I put one in my pocketbook and one in my house. I always have it with me so that I can rehydrate throughout the day. Just give yourself a quick spritz on the face, and your face will be nice and moisturized and will feel and look very plumped. I absolutely love this stuff! Don’t even bother buying one of those super expensive rose sprays from the department stores or the make up stores. Just buy this and you will be super happy! I am 55 years old with aging skin, and when I use this, my face is rejuvenated and super hydrated. I even purchased two more of these for my sister and my best friend for their birthdays. Love this stuff!" —Elizabeth

Promising review: "I keep feeling the backs of my legs thinking I'll wake up from this wonderful dream LOL. I'm 51 and have had KP on the backs of my legs for my entire adult life. The first time I used this I noticed a difference. It wasn't drastic but it was still a difference. The second time I used it was even better. The next five or six times there was no difference at all. I continued using it every 3–4 days and all of a sudden, it started making a huge difference! Then I used it a few days later and it was drastically even better! Now I'd say that I'm about 95% smooth. Unbelievable! Also, I use about a dime size amount and I bought it just over two months ago. I still have about 1/3 remaining. I am 100% satisfied with the price and results. My daughter has KP as well and I rarely tell her about the products I try because nothing ever works. It was really exciting to tell her about this product. She just ordered some and I can't wait to hear how it works for her :)" —Prime's #1 Fan

Promising review: "I am 50 years old and have spent a ton of money on face creams and washes that never seem to work; my skin was still dry. I read the reviews and thought I would give it a try. I started using the hydrating face wash and the gel cream and my skin is so much better. All that money I have spent thinking expensive would be better — not true! This is a great price and does what it says." —Machelle

Promising review: "My dermatologist recommended this to me. I am 52 with normal to dry skin. At first, I thought it felt too light and too much like lotion to effectively clean, but it does a great job cleansing the skin without being harsh. My skin feels so soft and clean after using it. I love that it has hyaluronic acid in it...highly recommend." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I have used Clarisonic and also Silk'n face cleansing brushes, but none can compare to the Foreo Luna Mini 2. I am noticing my pores are getting less noticeable and my skin looks great. I am 68 years old and have always taken good care of my skin since I was 21. I am very pleased and impressed with my Mini 2. It is a great size for my hand and is gentle yet thorough in cleaning my skin. I was very happy with the price — it certainly is worth it. And I don't have to charge it every night. Charging every 6 months is OK with me! I would recommend this to everyone." —Lois S.
