Promising review: "I have three of these now, one of them is 20 years old. Simply the best. Will capture the smallest hair. You can restore sharpness by drawing it through an emery board every month or so." —B. Rockefeller

Promising review: "Durable, good looking, and richly padded. I have washed them hundreds of times and they do not degrade with time. I wear them when I am just kicking around and not hiking. They are plush and super comfortable provided that your shoes are supple and are sized properly for you feet. Too thick to wear with your tux and tight shoes, but great for just about any other type of casual shoe. They are made sturdy with the finest materials and are guaranteed for life. I have owned them for about five years and never have returned them. The guarantee seems legit and the premium price is worth it. They really can last for a lifetime." —Ben and Diane

Promising review: "My husband purchased this for me at a steal for Christmas seven years ago, and I am still madly in love with it. I have never had any issues with it. It cleans easily, is gorgeous, and definitely the best mixer I have ever used. I have recommended KitchenAid mixers to people and will continue to do so. It is worth the money if you like to bake!" —Kris G.

Promising review: "I have had this particular hair dryer for almost eight years! I got it as a Christmas gift because I wanted to get a 'higher end' one versus just picking up the same old regular, lower priced one. This hair dryer dries my hair so fast. I do have fine hair, but it’s amazing how fast it dries! Anyone that uses this always says, 'Wow! I love your hair dryer!' From A to Z, overall, it’s definitely a great purchase! I’m going to purchase another one because mine will eventually die! (Eight years is longer than most last!) Most of the time I usually try other products just to change things, but why mess with something that I am 100% happy owning?! Would recommend this product to everyone!" —Holly Meade

Promising review: "Very pleased with the red Tasty set I received for Christmas. The set has lasted very well! I cook for seven-plus people nightly and put them in the dishwasher pretty much daily. The fact it has lasted through my spouse and teen daughter is phenomenal! Few scratches here and there from a knife but I highly recommend this set to anyone." —TexasTaylor

I love the tiny pops of color, and each piece that comes in this set is absolutely necessary and super versatile. It gives you the capability to bake vegetables, meats, cakes, cupcakes, breads, muffins, banana nut breads, and everything in between. They work great, they're durable, and they're a cute set." —Amy

Promising review: "Arrived so very well packaged that I actually saved the box for moving. The product is standard Pyrex; not much to be said. Thick and sturdy glass that should last you forever.... if you don't drop it on a tile kitchen floor... in that case, be prepared for an explosion. R.I.P. to my trusty old cup of 13 years." —CLP

Promising review: "I was so ready to write a review about what a piece of crap this is; boy was I wrong! This actually works! I usually use the Neutrogena cleansing cloths, which work OK, but this MakeUp Eraser blows them out of the water. I can't believe how great it is. I went to a show last night and got the dreaded hand stamp. Of course, because they use ink developed my NASA, I couldn't wash it off. I can't show up to work with a giant robot stamped on the back of my hand so I scrubbed and scrubbed. When my skin was gone but the stamp wasn't, I tried the Makeup Eraser as a last resort. That sucker damn near got the whole thing off!!! I'm so impressed by this thing I'm going to get another one just in case they stop making them!" —Lola

Promising review: "These are heavy duty containers built to last and last. I really like the size and shape assortment; it means I pretty much have a container for any size leftovers or anything I want to store and know it will still be fresh when I go to enjoy it again. I do meal prep and they work wonderful. The leakproof snap-on lids allows me to keep things like olives in the containers with out any worry of it leaking all over the fridge." —AmazonShopper

Promising review: "My mom had Bean boots when me and my siblings were growing up. When our feet stopped growing we could get a pair. I got my first pair a few years ago and I cannot express how much I love them. They survived trudging through floods of hurricanes, through snow, and all weather. These are my everyday boot. I have the regular pair and I love them to pieces. I recommend them to all of my friends and are a fabulous investment." —Lindsay

Promising review: "I bought them over four years ago and use them daily, and they still work perfectly. I used to go through at least two pairs of headphones every year, but I haven't had to buy another since buying this one pair. They've been carelessly tossed in bags, pulled out by one earbud, tangled, dropped, chewed on, spilled on, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. The cord is slightly dingy/discolored looking in a few places, but NOT frayed or damaged. The ear buds are still securely attached to the wire, and the aux end is also miraculously in great condition. The bright color actually makes them easier to find when I'm digging in my bag or when I've dropped them behind/under something. They're super comfortable in my small ears; I've had issues with other brands/styles being too large and painful to keep in for more than an hour. I frequently wear these for eight hours at a time without issue, and I've even slept comfortably with them in quite a few times. Good noise-blocking for the money too; I have to only wear one side at work so I can hear if my phone rings or someone calls my name." —Moferr

Promising review: "I’ve owned mine for over three years now and use it regularly at home. The knife is more than sharp enough to cut an avocado in half quickly and easily but not sharp enough to cut skin. I’ve let my 10-year-old granddaughter use it all the time since she was seven. Pitting couldn't be easier or safer: three slightly rounded, blunted, recessed blades grab the pit, and the finger hole allows you to push it out easily. My blades are still fine after three-plus years. Then in one fast easy motion I have seven even slices of avocado ready for my sandwich or salad. I didn’t even need to scrape it out with a spoon." —Tony C

Promising review: "I don't think I've ever owned an umbrella that lasted this long. Well worth the money. I've had this umbrella since 2015 now, and I carry it in my backpack daily and use it pretty much every time it rains. It's still going strong despite the rain and wind of NYC." —Ben

Promising review: "LOVE these bags. Have been using one from a promotional campaign at a store for 12+ years, and it's just now started to show some age. It gets used/abused several times a week with much heavier loads than recommended. With the carabiner and draw cord, it clips right on my tiny purse and I never forget it at home or in the truck when I go to the store. Bought these for gifts for a couple of environmentally aware friends, I'm positive they'll love them as much as I do." —M. Miller

Promising review: "I've tried a LOT of reusable bags as there are a lot of options out there all using a variety of materials. The fabric ones just get gross over time. The vinyl ones are hard to clean and aren't usually dishwasher-safe. There are other silicone ones that need a separate rod to close them that you can easily lose. This one is the most simple and easy to use. No separate pieces to lose. Can withstand any temperature/microwave/dishwasher/whatever. And if they get gunky they are very easy to clean." —Megan A.

Promising review: "I've used my wide-mouthed Nalgene for EIGHT years, every day at every job I've had. We were inseparable. All the lunches we had together, the late nights, early mornings, fears of bosses, laughing at co-workers...ah the joys we had together. I didn't even treat it that well, dropping it on concrete, down stairs, throwing it in my car, and not a single leak. One time I threw it in my car without the lid on all the way, and it reminded me gently with spilled water that I needed to tighten the lid. I've left it behind almost everywhere, but we always found each other. Until one work meeting when I left it in the conference room. I'm guessing someone grew quite jealous of our affection, and swiped it! NOO! Truly an end of an era. There really was a connection here. Well eight years of daily use later is a good enough review for me to come back and buy the same water bottle. :)" —amznbuyer

Promising review: "I bought several of these as gifts for my nieces and nephews, but I've had my own Hydroflask for years now. I've been using the same one and I've never had a single issue with it. It keeps my drinks cold, it's a slim design so it fits in my bag, it's durable for hiking (mine has been beat up and it's still doing a great job), and the seal-proof lid really works for me. I recommend these to anyone looking for a new water bottle." —Savannah

Promising review: "I bought these six years ago and use them every day — coffee in the morning and strong ale (for me!) in the eve. We have lovely natural polished wood Mission-style tables, but they get water stains in spite of the acrylic finish, so we use coasters. These are our favorites. They absorb the small spills and condensation and in all these years never a leak through to the cork base. We love natural materials and this fits right in. We like the way they look like sand dune landscapes too." —Bufatutu

Promising review: "I finally lost my old Swiss Army knife, which I had for the past 10+ years. It worked great, and lasted through just about everything I have put it through. Promising review: "My second pair in 21 years, why you ask?!?!? Because that's how long my first pair lasted. They would've kept going too, however, my dog ate the strap. I gladly immediately purchased another pair to be my hiking, kayaking and water shoes as they have held up so well over the years." —Shoeless Joe Jackson

Promising review: "I love Rainbows! My first pair are close to 20 years old; they still look great, and I still wear them every summer! I just came back for another pair in black. They provide protection to your feet while feeling like you're not wearing anything, which is important when it's so hot out. Rainbows mold to your feet over time. They actually get better the more you wear them and manage to still look great year after year, rather than deteriorating like most other shoes. I truly love that they stand up to anything you put them through; mine have survived numerous beach trips (heat, ocean, and sand), 120-degree desert heat where you can literally cook an egg on the sidewalk (most flip-flops fail this test), Midwest torrential rain (they actually stay on your feet in this situation instead of becoming slippery and sliding off you feet), and normal everyday life for years. Consider this an investment not just another crappy pair of flip-flops you throw away in two weeks. These last forever!" —HLU777

Promising review: "I've owned this Thermos for two years and it still works like a charm. I work as a nurse and use it for my coffee just about every night. If I pre-heat the Thermos as suggested, my coffee stays too hot to drink the majority of my shift (12 hours — hot hot!). If I don't pre-heat it, it will be 'hot hot' for the first four to five hours and then cools to drinkable hot/warm by morning. I like the included cup so that I can pour fresh hot cups as I feel like drinking it and let it cool to the exact temperature I like. If I don't finish it (very rare occasion), when I go to clean it, the coffee is still warmish ~24 hours later! The midnight blue body still looks good and the Thermos has actually survived a few drops with no damage." —Nursepeps

Promising review: "This is the only chew toy my dog can't destroy. He's a 50-pound boxer and terrier mix with an ENORMOUS head that's too big for his body and jaws of steel. You can easily pick him up off the ground by his Tug of War rope. Those big beef shank bones just seem to DISSOLVE once he gets hold of them. And other brands of dog chews don't last five minutes. I've got a Kong Extreme that lasted two years and is still in perfect shape — or at least it was last time I saw it. He hid it somewhere and forgot, so I had to get him another, but it's a good investment since they are SO durable." —Rachel Mackintosh
