"This sounds weird but I actually enjoy cleaning with these products and am doing it more often."
Promising review: "WOW! Honestly, I was a little skeptical of the promise of these pads, but I bought them just to try out. THEY WORKED AMAZINGLY WELL! Seriously. I have some stains that are 1.5–2 years old. I've tried everything to get them out. I put these pads on the stains (two to cover the spot), let sit for about an hour, pulled them up, and the stain was gone. I truly couldn't believe it. The pad was yellow. Somehow the old urine was soaked up into the pad. My carpet looks like new. I couldn't recommend these any higher for what I wanted and what I got. Wish I could give this more than five stars." —Matt

Also the scent is light but really nice and fresh! I recommend these 100%! They’re super interesting but they do the job." —Janet

Promising review: "I got tired of cleaning the bottom of my oven out after every drip and spill, or running the 'oven clean' option, which uses up so much energy and makes my house HOT during the process. I used to have foil on the bottom of the oven to help with spills, and that improved things greatly — but then you have to replace the foil after a while. I had to cut them to size, which was easy to do with a simple pair of household scissors. Then I placed them in the oven (they look nice!), and I waited for it to get messy. I cooked something super messy and finally needed to clean the liner. It was SO easy; I put it in the sink and used my sink sprayer and everything immediately slid right off the liner. No problem! I have a double oven, so I was glad this pack came with more than one. I have one in each oven and one on standby in case I need it. I know that having a dirty oven isn't the worst thing in the world, but if it matters to you, try these!" —Hpg

We also use it on our metal indoor heat/air vent. Love that the tool comes with washable replacement dusters." —mastermom

Childhood friends Alison Matz and Linda Sawyer started Skura Style (Skura is Swedish for "scour" or "scrub"), a small business that reimagines your regular old sponge.
Promising review: "I have been using Skura Style sponges for some time now and they are truly one of the best sponges I have used not only in the kitchen, but in the bathroom as well. The scrubbing pad works wonders on stuff that usually gets stuck and is a pain to clean. The fade logo technology is a nice touch so I know when to change my sponge. I never really knew how gross my sponge was before using this product. I highly recommend this sponge." —Athan Tsakalakis

Promising review: "The glove is super comfortable and using it couldn’t be more foolproof: just put it on and run your hands through your pet’s fur. That’s it! The silicone grooves pick up so much fur with ease. Like, my dog looks close to hairless. HOW is he shedding so much!?!? After a few runs, I found that I would have to remove fur from the glove before continuing (you can pick up the fur with your other hand or run the glove under some water — either works) but it’s no biggie. The silicone actually makes it really easy to keep this clean. We got Rockie when he was 5 and he’d been riddled with skin issues and allergies, so I was pretty nervous to use anything that could potentially aggravate his conditions. However! Not only does this *not* bother his skin, but he…loves this. A lot. He starts snoring after exactly two run-throughs on his back. Also, his coat looks SO shiny after each use! TL;DR: this is one of those inexpensive add-ons that any pet owner should have on hand." —AnaMaria Glavan

Promising review: "After reading the newspaper, I desperately need just one dang thing I can fix in this world! But seriously, it's the best stainless cleaner I've ever used. It's quick, smells great, and the finish is perfect. It resists fingerprints (and paw prints) for days. It was also a great idea they had to include the microfiber cleaning cloth, as it does an excellent job as well. I probably wouldn't have thought of that. I plan to give these as gifts. Pretty funny!" —Designer Mom

Promising review: "I love everything about the Hoover Smartwash Automatic Carpet Cleaner! With adopting our daughter's 16-year-old cat recently, we forgot what problems we used to have with our older cats; not a lot of fun at times. Since we have had the old boy it has been fun, except when he has hairballs, and then the real fun starts! We received our new Hoover shampooer about two weeks ago. So simple to operate, and the carpets dry exceptionally fast. Don't be lazy and do the final rinse with clean water as suggested. The touch button 'full time' dry feature allows you to go back and forth in the dry mode and ALL the excess water comes up like a charm. No leakage, very fast-cleaning, and exceptional suction! I didn't need to pre-spot anything. A great machine!!!" —Peter E. von Elten

They are lightweight on my feet...hardly notice I'm wearing them, and by golly they pick up the dust and dirt that our dog leaves behind! They also wash very nicely. We always wish in Tide and these looked brand new after being washed. I'm very pleased with my purchase!" —Tim S.

Promising review: "Don't walk...run to your computer and buy one of these! This little vacuum is so powerful. I am really impressed. It's easy to use and fast — way easier than hooking up attachments to my upright or canister vacuum. They are so awkward to work with compared to this little vacuum. It has a very long cord, which I really appreciate. The rubbery nozzle with the little knobs on it is so effective to help loosen the hair so it can be sucked up by the vacuum. It also has another tool that will allow you to pick up larger loose debris. It's very satisfying to see how much junk you're vacuuming up — gives you that sense of accomplishment we all need to feel inclined to vacuum at all." —ozmoore

Promising review: "Once you get everything set up, it's really easy to use and bathtime is pretty quick for my 50-pound dog. If you have a nervous dog, get him used to it first! My dog has PTSD from being a stray and getting hit by a car so he HATES loud noises. The first time we turned it on, we gave him treats and got him to come closer and closer. Now, he doesn't particularly enjoy bath time, but he's not scared of it. I didn't really think I'd use the upholstery-cleaning option, but then my cat vomited on a dining chair and HOLY CRAP does this thing clean cushions well. I was happy with it for the dog cleaning ability, but now I'm totally in love!" —Pamela A Ringstrom

Promising review: "I have very hard water that leaves hard-water buildup and nasty stains. It’s embarrassing to have guests over because the toilets are so gross! I have tried so many products and cleaning solutions — from natural essential oils to harsh chemicals so strong I was lightheaded for the rest of the day. Well, I tried out this pumice stone after reading about it in a BuzzFeed article, and honestly the hype is real! It does take some elbow grease, but the after picture is from only 20 minutes of scrubbing, light enough that I didn’t break a sweat! The stone does get used up, but I think this one should last me a couple of years at least. So if you have embarrassing toilets, try this!" —Stephanie Ray

Promising review: "Does a FANTASTIC job if used regularly. I love this product. I hate cleaning tubs. This product has made our tubs look new. I don't use it every shower...maybe every third. Just spray down everything after the shower, and forget about it. You DO need to rinse tub before next shower due to product making it slick. The fumes of other cleaners always messed with my asthma. I have noticed that for some reason with this one, I sneeze twice, because I have to spray shower doors while Im still in the shower...but it never affects my lungs. I would recommend this to EVERYONE!" —Angela GIllaird

Promising review: I am a NEAT FREAK! I love to clean. I literally clean my house daily. It can’t be clean enough. I have a two-story, three-bedroom three-bathroom house with two dogs. This vacuum cleans all of it! This gadget is legit like a little human vacuuming your floors, but super throughly. It goes over all my rugs and hardwood floors, and it goes in the bathrooms and closets and under all the furniture. Once in a while it gets caught in the wires underneath my TV but most of the time it is able to get itself out of it. It’s quiet. My dogs barely even notice it. This is worth every penny! It’s easy to set up, and easy to clean after each use. It does all the hard work for you. Since I’ve had mine, I’ve literally gotten five friends to buy one and they all love it too." —Shannon

Promising review: "Unbeknownst to us, our senior cat had been peeing on two brand-new large shag area rugs. The first one I gave up trying to clean and purchased a new one. I just realized last week she has been peeing on another shag rug and I started crying. It’s the worst smell ever! I can’t keep purchasing new rugs until she dies. After scouring Google, this product kept being mentioned as the best enzyme cleaner, which I never knew was a thing. My order arrived at 6 p.m. today and we went right to work. By 6:30 I was almost in tears, the smell was gone! The other rug I gave up on, I threw in the garage intending to try to power wash it in the spring to maybe salvage as a basement rug. But now I’m bringing it in the house to treat and put back into a bedroom. I can’t believe how well it works! I can’t believe how fast it works! I can’t believe how good it smells and I am so thankful for this product!" —J. A. Merryweather

Sound is a small biz started by friends Tommy Kelly and Salim Najjar, who were working together at a power plant when they came up with the idea to start a sparkling beverage company.
Promising review: "I'm always overwhelmed by the amount of sparkling water options and more shocked when I notice that all these brands have the same ingredient profiles: sparkling water and 'natural flavors.' I've found these products taste too fake/chemically (if that's a word) to me, so I was ecstatic when I tried SOUND! They only use single source, organic extracts, which gives a very clean, refreshing experience when consuming and no fake/chemically back-end taste! Extremely enjoyable and the only concern is how fast they'll get consumed in my house!!!!" —Dreamer

Promising review: "Works better than I thought. Our kitchen cabinets are too low for a countertop dishwasher and the house is too old to try to install a huge dishwasher. We mostly hate washing silverware and cups. This dishwasher is perfect. It is a little small but great on space and I feel it fully sanitized everything. Much better than our sponge and slimy sink washing. *bleh* I am on the third load and so far it's done great. It's just three of us in the house so we really don't need a huge dishwasher. We are also moving soon and it's nice to know I can pack this up and take it with me!" —Kiera Kittie

Promising review: "I have used many label makers with built-in keyboards and I have to say this is so much better. The app gives a ton of flexibility to move text, change the size, add in custom elements and borders, create bar codes, and you can even save what you make, which would probably be amazing for small companies that label their products. This label maker is fun and works well. Only drawbacks I have experienced is emojis do not print out well and the app can be a little finicky when selecting the size of the label." —Amazon Customer
