Buying a house is a big commitment. Whether you're anywhere near being able to do it or not, you probably have a rough idea of what your dream home would look like.
Thinking about the things I would (and wouldn't) want in a hypothetical home made me really curious to know: Would you still buy a house that was perfect for you in every other way if it had...
Note: I know some of these issues can be fixed, but just for funsies, let's pretend you'd *have to* live with them for at least a year before renovating.
3. No windows in the bedroom.
4. Poor cellphone reception.
6. A very "involved" homeowners' association.
7. Popcorn ceilings.
8. A location outside the delivery zone for any restaurants.
9. Fluorescent lights.
10. Wood paneling in every room.
11. A little bit too open concept.
15. Concrete floors.
16. A busy highway right next door.
17. Rumored ghostly inhabitants.
18. Carpet that is older than you are.
24. Poorly crafted and un-permitted renovations.
