Australian streaming service Stan has announced the cast of their Wolf Creek miniseries this morning, which sees John Jarrett returning to his iconic, TERRIFYING role as Mick Taylor.

Aussie actress Lucy Fry, who you might know from Vampire Academy and Mako: Island of Secrets, takes the lead role of Eve.

Lucy is joined by an incredible cast including Offspring and Redfern Now star, Deborah Mailman, and Love Child's Miranda Tapsell.

Tapsell won both the most popular new talent and most outstanding newcomer awards at the Logies this year, where she called for for more diversity and roles for indigenous actors on Australian TV.

Spartacus: War Of The Damned's Dustin Clare and Wonderland's Jessica Tovey also join the cast.

Rounding it out are Jake Ryan (Wentworth) and Richard Cawthorne (Catching Milat). Ten years since the release of the original Wolf Creek also sees the return of creator and director, Greg McLean who will be working alongside another Aussie director, Tony Tilse.

Wolf Creek is another addition in Stan's ongoing attempt to build original, local programming.

Set to shoot in South Australia, the six-part series will premiere exclusively on Stan mid 2016.
