After a long, exhaustive day of work, most people like to blow off some steam with a relaxing night of Netflix, video games, or even a good book.
Enter the soldiers of the US National Guard on the site of Camp Atterbury in Indiana, who frequently play an extreme version of the playground classic, Tug of War, in their down time.
“Canadian soldiers observed US National Guard soldiers playing an interesting version of the game, Tug of War".
“Finally, one young Canadian soldier dared to challenge the hometown crowd, and put national pride on the line.”
After a gruelling battle of total body strength and sheer willpower, the victor of this match was...
...Canada's own Master Corporal John Celestino of the Windor Regiment!
And of course, the two demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and thanked each other for being such a worthy adversary.
