    1. TXTR. by Cantu Oil + Vitamins Scalp Saver because the skin on your scalp's gonna need the same TLC you give to your face and body. P.S. This product is fragrance-free.

    Instagram / Cantu / Via

PSA: Your scalp has skin too and needs as much love as everywhere else. That said, it is pretty tough to find hair products that promote healthy hair growth ~and~ addresses a sensitive scalp. The Scalp Saver is an oil blend that's free of irritating fragrances. Its formula is made of shea butter (to hydrate and nourish), rosemary oil (to moisturize the scalp), burdock root oil (soothes itching) which treat the skin on your scalp. Meanwhile, it has vitamin D (encourages hair growth), vitamin E (adds shine), and vitamin K (promotes hair strength) to make sure that the hair is nourished as much as the scalp. I've been using this oil blend for about two years and it completely ended my chronically itchy scalp problems.

Get it from Ulta for $9.99.

    2. Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay made of 100% bentonite clay that reviewers say can clear up eczema, psoriasis, acne, and more.,

The bentonite clay helps clear up different forms of acne (yes, even cystic breakouts) but several reviewers noted that the product addressed their acne concerns without sparking an allergic reaction and/or completely cleared up their sensitive skin flare-ups.

Promising review: "This stuff is incredible. I have sensitive skin and stuff like this usually breaks me out, but this magic powder mixed with apple cider vinegar just made me turn red for a little bit and left me feeling smooth like butter. It did drag up more dirt than a girl with an internet connection with a grudge, but unlike Jessica who ruined my life for a brief period of time, this made me feel good about myself. I use it for spot treatments daily (fewer and further between as the days go by), and once a week I use it as an all-over mask. It's a whole pound and two tablespoons lasted me for two weeks. I'll have to leave this tub to my kids in my will one day cause I'll still have it. It feels really good when it dries and you move your face for the first time, kind of like your face is the soft side of the velcro and the mask is the hook part and someone is pulling them apart slowly. Your face will be red for a little bit but that goes away. Also, with apple cider vinegar, it stinks to high heaven but it's ohhhh so worth it." —MamaBear

Get it from Amazon in a one-pound jar for $9.99+ (available in two sizes).

    3. Aveeno Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser to remove makeup, dirt, and oil while calming redness and itchiness. The cleanser is fragrance-, oil-, and soap-free, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic. Reviewers also credit this foamy goodness with relieving sensitive skin flare-ups. Some even noted that their dermatologists recommended this cleanser.

Promising review: "I have severe redness in my face that I’m sure is rosacea since pretty much every face wash makes my face even worse. I finally found this recommended on a website to calm my skin. It’s so soft and actually helps with the redness. I also haven’t broken out at all over for the last three months which is pretty much a miracle because my skin always flares up. I highly recommend trying this if you have sensitive skin." —Ronald P.

Get it from Amazon for $6.37.

    4. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cleansing Cloths that can remove makeup, oil, and dirt without tugging or irritating skin.

Promising review: "This product is absolute PERFECTION. I've tried so many makeup remover wipes and all of them either left a really heavy residue on my skin or they weren't effective at removing ~most~ of my makeup. After using up the pack that I had, I made a run to replenish and this caught my eye because the packaging said it was great for sensitive skin. I grabbed a pack and tried it out when I got home. God Almighty, these wipes are HEAVEN! First off, they don't leave a heavy residue as most other wipes do. The wipes left my skin feeling smooth, hydrated, and fresh. Second, they remove almost all my makeup without irritating my sensitive skin. Lastly, they have such great value! I normally buy high-end cleansing oils but they don't even remove makeup as well as these wipes. I saved a ton of money and I know I'm doing my skin a service just by using these wipes." —Fitfab

Get them from Ulta for $6.99.

    5. Dermal Korea Collagen Essence Sheet Masks to help you pull off those face-mask-and-chill nights that don't result in inflamed-and-itchy mornings. Loads of reviewers shared that this worked well to moisturize their sensitive skin without causing inflammation or irritation. FYI: BuzzFeed writer Samantha Wieder tried these sheet masks on her sensitive skin so you can read her full review of Dermal Korea Mask Sheets for more tea on how well these work.

Promising review: "I’ve been eyeballing these but was skeptical because, for the price, they seemed too good to be true but they had so many good reviews that I went for it and I’m glad I did. The winter is not good to my skin and even with daily moisturizing, I was getting a lot of dry flaky patches. They are hard to see in the pictures but after one mask for 15 minutes, the dryness was 100% gone and my skin felt really soft! I also think it got rid of some of the redness in my cheeks. It didn’t seem to do much for the acne blemishes I have right now, but they are advertised as being more moisturizing and restorative. Also, because I have sensitive skin, the fact that the mask didn’t make the breakouts worse is still a huge win in my book. Also, I don’t know if it’s the serum that’s on these or the material they are made of, but this mask definitely stayed on my face better than some other sheets I tried. I sat down but didn’t have to hold my head back to feel like it was secure, whereas with other products I usually feel like I have to be lying down to keep it on." —Michelle P

Get them from Amazon for $10.49+ (available in multiple pack sizes).

    6. Mighty Patch Pimple Patches – they'll sit on top of a pimple for several hours without worrying about dryness or irritation. They're made of 100% hydrocolloid instead of latex so they're safe for sensitive skin.

Trying to cure one problem (acne) and then triggering another (itchiness, latex allergies, dryness, etc...) absolutely SUCKS. Thanks to these pimple patches, you can suck the gunk out of your acne blemishes without all of that drama.

Promising review: "Holy grail product! I have a bad habit of picking the hormonal acne and whiteheads that show up around my jawline, and these dots are the only thing that keeps me from leaving scars. I’ve spent thousands on acne products, and this is one of the VERY few products I’ve repurchased. These were much more effective than the acne dots I've tried in the past because they don’t contain salicylic acid, which was too harsh on my sensitive skin and left red, flaky circles on my face after I took them off (which lasted for WEEKS). I don't get any bad reactions from these patches, plus they're way less expensive!" —Abbey Mineer

Get them from Amazon for $12.50+ (available in four different box counts).

    7. Glossier Greens + Moons Mask Duo to remove impurities and then hydrate your face. The Mega Greens Galaxy Mask does the cleansing with superfood antioxidants that pull out impurities. Then, the Moisturizing Moon Mask hydrates and brightens skin with ingredients like licorice root and lemon extract.

This combo is fragrance-free and vegan.

Promising review: "Someone in an earlier comment mentioned that the Greens Galaxy Mask is like a 'fruit smoothie for your skin' and I could not agree more. Shoutout to whoever wrote that! Every time I put it on, my skin feels so refreshed and rejuvenated! I've always been a little hesitant to try new products since my skin is so sensitive but I am a religious two-times-per-week user at this point. The Moon Mask is always a must-have follow-up with the Greens Mask. It locks all that moisture in and gives you a funny excuse to scare your unsuspecting significant other (sorry boyfriend). Follow up after the Moon Mask with Glossier Priming Moisturizer and your face will thank you later." —KKing21

Get the Mega Greens Galaxy Mask from Glossier for $22, the Moisturizing Moon Mask for $22, or the duo for $40.

That's not the case with this set since ALL THREE PRODUCTS are fragrance-, alcohol-, oil-, silicone-, nut-, and gluten-free. The Ordinary is owned by Deciem and both companies are vegan and cruelty-free.

Promising review: "I have used this for almost two weeks and it has done wonders to battle the New England winter. It provides the moisture I need and even works as a great primer for my foundation. My skin is healthier-looking, doesn’t cause breakouts, and doesn’t cause redness. I will be buying this again!" —Curvalicious14

Promising review: "I bought this Clinique iD moisturizer about a week ago (the hydrating lotion with the green serum cartridge), and let me just say that THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! I've been having persistent breakouts for months (not like a minor spot once in a while, but four serious blemishes at a time for no apparent reason). On top of that, I suddenly started to have sore, chapped, dry skin about three weeks ago. Makeup wasn't sitting well on my face, my skin was patchy and sore but still broken out, and nothing seemed to help. I hadn't changed a single product in the last six months, and here I was, unable to get rid of the sudden onset of breakouts and irritation. This lotion has made a world of difference! The moment I applied it, my skin felt better. My face didn't burn but instead felt supple and soothed. By day two, my roommate commented on how much better my skin looked. Three days later, my breakouts were a thing of the past and the redness had ebbed away... I am over the moon with this product and I would highly recommend it to people with irritated, acne-prone, dry skin for the combination I used! THANK YOU, CLINIQUE!" —Gwyneth Anne

Instead, my skin felt calm and comfortable for the entire 15 minutes while the mask sat on my face. I rinsed my face twice with cool water and followed with Tatcha Silk Cream. My skin felt extremely smooth, the pores on my nose felt clearer, and dead skin cells were removed — leaving me with clear, soft skin. My makeup applied beautifully after using this mask with smooth and easy application without any rough spots. I'd probably use this mask in the daytime for the smooth make-up application benefits. Promising review: "I have VERY sensitive skin and have reactions to every kind of lip balm, including Burt's Bees and other brands that are supposed to be natural and gentle. I can pretty much only tolerate Vaseline or Aquaphor but I could tell that without some kind of sunscreen, my lips were sustaining sun damage. I've tried Vanicream products before and have not been impressed by its facial care line but decided to still try this lip sunscreen. Yes, it does go on a bit white, as you would expect with sunblock that uses physical blockers. Over time, it did seem to absorb and was not blatantly white. Honeyskin is a cruelty-free and vegan brand.

Promising review: "I'm a skeptic. I am wary of big promises from skincare products. I discovered long ago that the products usually have their most profound impact on my wallet. A few months ago, at age 55, I developed rosacea. I have spent a fair amount of money and time looking for a solution. The product that worked best dried my skin and still left some redness. I took a chance on Honeyskin and within three days all redness was gone and has never come back. I have been using for about a month now on my face, décolleté, and arms. I have no special routine. I just apply in the morning and at night like I would any other moisturizer... Also, I suffer from allergies and have always struggled with puffiness under my eyes. Well, a couple of weeks ago I noticed the puffiness under my eyes looked better and has stayed that way... I can eliminate rosacea and eye cream from my list which makes this very affordable." —Kim

    Cover FX

Promising review: "I have sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin, and I’ve been through almost all the mainstream 'cult fave' foundations. This is the only one that’s worked for me. It holds my oil so well and the color match is perfect! It doesn’t oxidize on me, neither does it settle into my pores. I’m honestly impressed and can’t stop talking about it because I’ve never found a foundation that checks all my boxes!" —Touxo

My skin is very sensitive and I often have a bit of redness so I need to be cautious about which products I put on my skin. Promising review: "I have super sensitive skin and eyes. Every time I took off my eye makeup (and sometimes my face makeup, too), my eyes would get really red for several hours. Suddenly, several hours turned into several days and I ended up in my eye doctor's office. We went through my routine and all of my hypoallergenic makeup was the same... I had been traveling for an extended period and using non-organic cotton pads. My eye doctor told me about all the pesticides sprayed onto cotton and more chemicals used to create the cotton pads. He gave me a steroid to clear up the irritation and suggested that I travel with my washcloths (not a completely sanitary solution since it never got to dry). Somehow, I was looking for something on Amazon for my college kid and came across these 100% organic cotton rounds. I have been buying them for two years now and using them without a single irritation or problem since." —C's Mommy

This formula is also meant to reduce redness, fine lines, and dryness.

"I have every skin issue you can think of including rosacea, acne (hormonal, cystic, whiteheads, blackheads, etc...), dehydration, excessive oiliness, redness, all of it. I’ve spent probably thousands of dollars on a multitude of different products, trying to find one that would at least make a dent. I’ve had many procedures and taken many trips to the dermatologist. Nothing I’ve ever used or done has made such a profound difference in the appearance of my skin. Having rosacea, my face often felt hot, bumpy, and burned. While my complexion is naturally fair and pink, this exfoliant has seriously covered all my bases in a gentle and effective way. I’ve been trying to turn my skin around for YEARS!! This was the product that did it. If I could give it 100 stars I would. It has seriously changed my life!!!" —HC
