Outspoken Liberal MP Booted From Parliament For Pouring Fuel On Himself

    The bad oil.

Australia's parliament has kicked out Queensland Liberal National MP Andrew Laming for 24 hours for bringing in cruise ship fuel and spilling it during a stunt on Tuesday night.

Mr Laming was telling a parliamentary committee about the "dirty bunker" fuel used by cruise ships in Australian ports when he smeared it on his hands, spilling it in the chamber.

The outspoken politician appeared to be preparing for the stunt on Monday, tweeting this picture with the fuel and "clean" alternative in his office.

Cruise ship crap? Could they use cleaner fuel in port?

The Speaker removed Mr Laming from parliament for 24 hours so he could think about what he had done.
