Margot Robbie's Pro-Marriage Equality Shirt On SNL Was Hot Fire

    Say "I do" m8.

Australian actor Margot Robbie smashed the premiere of the 42nd season of Saturday Night Live over the weekend, but perhaps more importantly rocked out in a t-shirt calling for marriage equality in Australia.

Unlike many forward-thinking countries, Australia is yet to legalise marriage equality.

The government wants to hold a national vote on the issue in February next year, but pro-LGBT groups say it'll be a damaging exercise, instead calling for the politicians just to vote on the issue in the parliament.

But Robbie's "Say I Do Down Under" tee is part of a new campaign by British actor Joshua Sasse (who is also the fiancee of Aussie singer Kylie Minogue) to raise awareness about the fact gay people still can't marry down under.

This is what it's all about - spreading the word and SAYING I DO DOWN UNDER #sayidodownunder @Dollyparton… https://t.co/KKOHztoJIE

Sasse has already got to work recruiting famous friends, including Jake Shears from the Scissor Sisters.

And TV host Kelly Ripa, rocking out the white-version of the political t-shirt.

But Robbie did her bit to spread the message to the world about Australia's slack attitude on marriage equality. Go Margot ya bloody legend.
