Timothée Chalamet Is Playing Bob Dylan In A Biopic And We Are Not Worthy

Nothing has ever made so much sense.

2020 is already becoming the best year yet for Timothée Chalamet (and his fans). After melting hearts in Little Women , the actor is suiting up for another period film: a Bob Dylan biopic inspired by the icon's transition from folk music to electric — and the book Dylan Goes Electric, as The Hollywood Reporter notes.

This casting makes so much sense, tbh. Not only does Timothée already have Dylan's aloof cool down, he could also almost be mistaken for a young Dylan.

Coincidentally (or not), Timmy's character in Little Women, Laurie, wore outfits inspired by Bob Dylan, as the costume designer, Jacqueline Durran, has said.

There's also the fact that Timmy was bumping Bob Dylan's "Tombstone Blues" when he recently did a cover photoshoot with Saoirse Ronan for Entertainment Weekly.

Interestingly, Timmy was first rumored to be suiting up as Dylan in a film helmed by Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino, back last May. That project was a different one, though, inspired by Dylan's 1975 album Blood on the Tracks.

It turns out, there's a big intersection between Timothée Chalamet and Bob Dylan fans.
