Taylor Swift's Tumblr Is The Happiest Place On The Internet And This Is Why
Let's all just sit around and be lovely to each other for a bit.
Right. You probably know Taylor Swift. Blonde, tall, sings about love and life and being happy, free, confused, and lonely at the same time.
She's been pretty cool on Instagram for a while, leaving inspirational comments on her fan's photos.
But last week she joined Tumblr, and Tumblr is a strange place. So she asked for advice from her fans.
Her first real post was pretty perfect.
And she carried on being brilliant.
She started looking around Tumblr, trying to figure out what everyone was doing.
Taylor just talks about what she loves. And she is so excited.
But Taytay can also sass the president of her record label.
She truly loves her fans, especially the really cute ones.
Though they all get love.
And she really loves her fans' art.
And really great GIFsets.
She shares her cookie recipes.
"'You can’t mix patterns.' THIS BIRD DISAGREES." – Taylor Swift, 2014
Yet Tumblr is not like other social networks. Swifties on Tumblr have SECRETS. And they were panicked.
But it was too late. P.I. Taylor Swift was there...
Of course, there are still other secrets out there. There's still no word on Wonderfucked.
Or the so-called Glow Stick Secret.
But enough of that smut. Look at this. She just gets people.
Look at her amazingly perfect day.
Look at her talking about feminism.
"I was proud of the simple fact that I somehow avoided a major embarrassment in this moment." – Taylor Swift, 2014
She's the sort of person who goes to Vegas and looks at pictures of windows.
She's the sort of woman who ships Ava Gardner and Frank Sinatra.
And wants to attend balls from the 1940s.
But can also drop a perfectly loving burn on a fan.
And she's awkward and self-aware.
Because Taylor is all of us.
Because she's not the bae we deserve, but she's the bae we need right now.
