My brother is 12 years older than me. So when he would babysit me between the ages of 4-7 years old, he would lock me in the unfinished basement and turn off the lights since I was too little to reach the light switch. I’m 27 now and still mortified of the dark and any basement.

Invest in new gym shoes or outfit. I would buy a new workout shirt or pant in fun, bright colors to help excite my brain. My depression caused insomnia so with the help of a sleep aid (via prescription of course) it allowed so much more energy and better focus in my workouts.
