10 Crazy Things That Mormons Experienced In 2014

1. Dancing in the Rain

12,000 youth in Gilbert, Arizona gathered in April to portray their determination to "Live True" to their faith through song, dance, and drama. They even drove the point home by going on with their open-air performance in spite of a spring rain shower.

2. Getting your "strength faithened" at October General Conference.

Elder David F. Evans of the Seventy gave the opening prayer at the Saturday Afternoon session, and this happened. We'll never be able to live that down.

7. Meeting Six Other Amazing Mormons

A football coach, a missionary mom, a humanitarian in Nepal, a boxer, the Candy Bomber, and a black bishop in Alabama (yes, you heard that right). Not a representative sample, true, but an interesting look at the diversity within our own faith. Plus, Jenna Kim Jones as narrator and David Archuleta's "Glorious" new single!

9. Falling in Love with Santino Fontana / Via

He played the bad guy in Disney's smash hit Frozen, but he came to Utah in July determined to prove he was a good one. We're still not sure whether he's good or bad, though, because he stole all our hearts. And he made us all "Happy" while he was at it. You can watch the whole concert for FREE on YouTube.
