I was in Canada and I’m from The Netherlands so going home quickly wasn’t really an option. Also I was 25 and felt silly calling my parents to get me home lol. My dad did get a little mad at me for not calling them. Had to promiss that next time I would :-)

Don’t be afraid to keep stuff!!! Especially keepsakes like cards, invitations etc. Just be smart about storing them and have a 1 box limit. I have one that is labelled “important stuff”. In case of a fire, I would grab just that and get the f out. Certain things you can’t replace…
