#Fact: After her first win, Meryl would eventually be nominated 19 more times, and win two more Oscars. As of now, she is the most nominated actor in history. That being said, Katharine Hepburn still holds the highest number of Oscar wins (four of them), compared with Meryl's three. This year she's nominated for Actress in a Leading Role for Florence Foster Jenkins.

2. Drew Barrymore — 1983

#Fact: While Drew herself wasn't nominated for an Academy Award, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial was nominated and won multiple awards. Drew walked the carpet in a dress designed by her mom, and wore a string of pearls given to her by Steven Spielberg. How sweet!

3. Angelina Jolie — 1986

#Fact: Angelina walked the carpet with her father, Jon Voight, who was nominated for Actor in a Leading Role in Runaway Train, and she would soon follow suit. In 2000 she won Actress in a Supporting Role for Girl, Interrupted, and was nominated for Actress in a Leading Role in 2009 for Changeling. Additionally, she won the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award in 2013.

4. Julia Roberts and Kiefer Sutherland — 1990

Nominee: Actress in a Supporting Role, Steel Magnolias

#Fact: This one's juicy. Soooo, Julia and Kiefer met on the set of Flatliners, and they eventually fell in love IRL. The problem was, Julia was already engaged to Dylan McDermott, who played her husband in Steel Magnolias. Kiefer was married to his first wife, Camelia Kath. Kiefer's divorce was finalized in early 1990 and Julia and Kiefer got engaged the same year this photo was taken. But it's not over yet! Julia called off the wedding in 1991, just days before she was supposed to walk down the aisle. YIKES.

#Fact: In addition to his Glory win, Denzel was nominated for Actor in a Supporting Role in Cry Freedom in 1988. He took home an Oscar in 2002 for Actor in a Leading Role in Training Day and has been nominated a total of eight times, including two nominations this year — Actor in a Leading Role and Best Picture for Fences.

#Fact: Gwyneth is posing here with James Ivory, who was her director on the film Jefferson in Paris. Rumors circulated that there was tension between J.Lo and Salma Hayek (below) after Salma claimed that she was offered the role of Selena. In 1998, J.Lo called Salma a liar and said she was never offered the role. "It makes me laugh when she says she got offered Selena," J.Lo said, "which was an outright lie. If that’s what she does to get herself publicity, then that’s her thing." Damn.
