This is Jagmeet Singh, an Ontario politician currently running to be leader of the federal NDP.
Singh held a meet and greet event in Brampton, Ontario, on Wednesday as part of his campaign. And things got real awkward.
He'd barely said hello when a woman stood up and started grilling the candidate.
The woman, who identified herself as Jennifer, carried on as Singh's handlers tried to get her to move on. She told them not to touch her or she'd call the police.
Local news site Brampton Focus captured the whole exchange in a video posted on YouTube.

As it becomes clear the woman isn't going to budge, Singh talks over her, saying: "What do we believe in? Love and courage."
He then calls for a round of applause for diversity as the woman asks, "When is your Sharia going to end?"
"We don't want to be intimidated by hate. We don’t want hatred to ruin a positive event," Singh replies.
After about four minutes, the woman relents and leaves. And that's when Singh showed he won't let people like Jennifer bring him down.
“You know growing up as a brown-skin, turbanned, bearded man, that I’ve faced things like this before. It’s not a problem. We can deal with it," he told the crowd.
