23 New And Returning TV Shows To Get Excited About This June

There's soooo much coming this month, like Tom Holland's new series, The Bear Season 2, And Just Like That, the first Black Mirror season in four years, Marvel's Secret Invasion, and more!

1. Never Have I Ever Season 4

The final season of Never Have I Ever starts streaming this month, and I'm so not ready to say goodbye. Last season we left off with a MAJOR cliffhanger as Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) decided to lose her virginity to the one and only Ben Gross (Jaren Lewison), and I'm desperate to see the (probably) messy aftermath of this decision. Yes, high school may be coming to a close, but knowing these characters, I can only imagine what kind of chaos is brewing. Also, Michael Cimino guest-stars this season as another potential love interest.

2. The Bear Season 2

The Bear's highly anticipated second season comes this month, and I already know it'll be as good as (if not better than) Season 1. This time around, we'll get to see Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) transform the Original Beef of Chicagoland into a top-tier restaurant. Soon they'll realize it's not all it's cracked up to be, and running a must-eat-at restaurant is harder than they ever imagined. Molly Gordon also joins the cast this season in a recurring role.

3. The Crowded Room

The Crowded Room follows Danny Sullivan (Tom Holland), a man who is arrested following his involvement in a shooting in New York City in 1979. Through a series of interviews with curious interrogator Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried), Danny’s life story unfolds, revealing elements of the mysterious past that shaped him, and the twists and turns that will lead him to a life-altering revelation.

4. Outlander Season 7, Part 1

Outlander Season 7 picks up right after the harrowing events of Season 6, where Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitríona Balfe) are once again separated as Claire is wrongfully convicted of murder. While Jamie races to try to help Claire, another, much bigger conflict is about to hit home: the American Revolution. Now Jamie, Claire, and their family are caught in the middle of the violence of an emerging nation as armies march to war and the British institutions face an armed rebellion. This upcoming season will be split into two parts and will mark the penultimate season of the hit series.

5. Secret Invasion

Set in the present-day MCU, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls. In an effort to save the planet, he joins forces with some unlikely allies: Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), Everett Ross (Martin Freeman), and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) — who has been reformed and is living a "good" life on Earth now. This series is also very likely to lead into The Marvels, the MCU's next film installment, starring Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris alongside Jackson.

6. The Walking Dead: Dead City

Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan reprise their roles as Maggie and Negan in this brand-new Walking Dead spinoff series. As the unlikely duo leave behind Georgia and Virginia for New York City, they realize just how the "greatest city in the world" dealt with the zombie apocalypse.

7. Cruel Summer Season 2

The wait is finally over!! Set in an idyllic waterfront town in the Pacific Northwest, this season of Cruel Summer follows the rise and fall of an intense teenage friendship. Similarly to Season 1, this story will be told from three different timelines surrounding Y2K, going back and forth between the early friendship involving Megan (Sadie Stanley), Isabella (Lexi Underwood), and Megan’s best friend, Luke (Griffin Gluck); the love triangle that blossomed; and the mystery that would change their lives forever.

8. The Witcher Season 3, Vol. 1

The Witcher Season 3 marks a lot of change coming for this series, one of those changes notably being that this is Henry Cavill's final season as Geralt. The season will pick up with Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) dealing with the fallout of almost selling Ciri (Freya Allan) in an attempt to restore her own magic. With trusted bonds broken, our heroes have hit some of the biggest action from the books, as Geralt also breaks his vow of neutrality and realizes that his family is all he needs (and wants).

When it returns: Vol. 1 on June 29 and Vol. 2 on July 27 on Netflix

9. Black Mirror Season 6

Black Mirror is finally dropping its first season since 2019, and I, for one, could not be more excited. This season is packed with a brand-new all-star cast and five brand-spankin'-new episodes. Creator Charlie Booker has even promised that he'll "keep things fresh," and boy, does he deliver. 10. And Just Like That Season 2

After the chaos of Season 1, one of the most talked-about series finally returns this summer. John Corbett joins the cast and reprises his role as Aidan, which can only mean his and Carrie's (Sarah Jessica Parker) relationship is gonna take center stage this season. And just when we thought this show was wild enough, Kim Cattrall officially announced her grand return as Samantha Jones.

11. The Righteous Gemstones Season 3

Season 3 is right around the corner, and I'm so beyond excited. Now that the spoiled Gemstone children finally get their wish of leading the church, they quickly come to realize that it's not all it's cracked up to be. There's a storm brewing for Jesse (Danny McBride), Kelvin (Adam Devine), and Judy (Edi Patterson) as they learn that their extravagant lifestyle comes with a heavy cost. And if you haven't yet caught up on this incredible show (I'm talking to you, Succession fans), THIS is the time to give it a shot.

12. Grown-ish Season 6

The final season of Grown-ish begins this month. This season will pick up prior to summer vacation as the crew heads to a music festival for one last hurrah before parting ways. As Zoey (Yara Shahidi) adjusts to real-life adulthood, Andre (Marcus Scribner) realizes he must get his act together before the next semester starts. And as with past seasons, there are already some confirmed guest appearances by the Johnson family patriarch Dre (Anthony Anderson).

When it returns: June 28 on Freeform, next day on Hulu

13. Based on a True Story

Based on a True Story is a new dark comedy–thriller that follows a Realtor, a former tennis star, and a plumber who decide to capitalize on America's obsession with true crime. When a serial killer emerges in their neighborhood, a couple decide to take matters into their own hands and try to catch a killer.

14. Manifest Season 4, Part 2

The last batch of Manifest episodes drop on Netflix this summer, and I can't believe it's finally time to see how this chaotic story wraps up. Picking up after the devastating events of Part 1, namely Zeke's (Matt Long) sacrifice to save Cal (Ty Doran), Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) is left to try and move on. With these final episodes, June 2 — aka the infamous death date — is rapidly approaching, and our favorite characters are running out of time to stop it and figure out how everything is truly all connected.

15. The Idol

16. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 16

The gang is back at it again! This season, Mac (Rob McElhenney) deals with long-distance dating, Charlie (Charlie Day) takes on his long-forgotten sisters, Dee (Kaitlin Olson) fights for rent control and women's athletics, and Frank (Danny DeVito) wrestles for his gun, all while Dennis (Glenn Howerton) struggles to improve his own mental health. We've all watched them try to tackle personal growth before and fail epically, but this time around, it feels promising!

17. Human Resources Season 2

The second and final season of Human Resources hits Netflix this summer. If we've learned anything from Season 1 (and all of Big Mouth), it's that there's NEVER a dull moment in the land of hormone monsters, logic rocks, and lovebugs. Specific plotlines from Season 2 have been kept pretty under wraps, but we do know that Florence Pugh, Miley Cyrus, Eugene Levy, Jon Lovitz, Niecy Nash-Betts, Sam Richardson, Isabella Rossellini, and Jason Mantzoukas are set to join the cast this season.

18. iCarly Season 3

19. With Love Season 2

21. The Full Monty

Taking place 25 years after the original beloved film, this new series follows the same band of brothers as they navigate the postindustrial UK city of Sheffield and the society's crumbling healthcare, education, and employment sectors. The Full Monty will uncover what happened to these characters after they put their kit back on, exploring some of the brighter, and more desperate, moments with the group. Just like the film, the series will explore the funny world of these working-class heroes and how their lives have changed.

23. Finally, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan Season 4

Prime Video

The final season of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan hits Prime Video at the end of this month. While the majority of the plot for this new season is under wraps, showrunner Vaun Wilmott did share that this season would be an "exciting ride." He added, "The end of Season 3 is a launch into Season 4, insomuch as Jack is in a good place with the CIA. Without giving you any spoilers, he takes a different role in Season 4 that we haven't seen before."
