"Happy Mother’s Day to my wonderful wife!," he wrote. "It’s been a year that tested you in so many ways but you’ve come through stronger, wiser, happier and a better mother than ever."
This isn't the first time Legend has recently expressed his support and love for Teigen. Last week, he opened up about empathizing with her "challenges" while using social media.
"Just seeing the difference between the way I get treated and the way Chrissy does...There's a lot more scrutiny on the way they look and people feel much more comfortable being mean to them than they do to men," he told the PEOPLE Every Day podcast.
Sounds like Legend truly appreciates Teigen in so many ways that goes beyond motherhood — and appreciation, after all, is what Mother's Day is all about.
