Jessica Alba Got Real About Her Father Undergoing Treatment For Thyroid Cancer

You know Jessica Alba.

Alba recently posted a video on Instagram of her and her father Mark dancing together, while revealing in the caption that her father is about to undergo treatment for thyroid cancer.

"My #papasito is about to SLAY #thyroidcancer - starting his radiation therapy mañana 👊🏽," Alba shared, along with the hashtags #LetsGo and #yougotthis.

Alba's followers provided an outpouring of support in the comments, including Mindy Kaling and actor Harold Perrineau.

Her father's real estate company, The Alba Team, also shared a post on Instagram detailing his condition and progress so far.

"Mark in particular has battled COVID-19 and thyroid cancer in the past few months, with some radiation on the way soon for healing," the post stated. "He’s positive and feeling great right now. It takes a lot to keep Mark down."

Here's hoping for a full and speedy recovery for Mark and the Alba family.
