Well, Adele finally revealed what she was saying during a recent performance as part of her Las Vegas residency — and, as it turns out, the guesses weren't too far off!
"It's hard work being a constant meme," Adele said of her Super Bowl moments, theorizing that the reason she gets meme'd so often is because she doesn't have Botox and "my face just moves so much."
Adele talks about becoming a meme during the #SuperBowl: “It's hard work being a constant meme...I was saying, she’s gonna be fine. She's gonna have some weed and be fine. But clearly she couldn't have any weed because SHE WAS PREGNANT!”
Adele then revealed that someone sent her the meme of her talking, before explaining what she was actually saying.
"I was saying, she’s gonna be fine," Adele explained. "She's gonna have some weed and be fine."
"But clearly she couldn't have any weed because she was pregnant!" Adele added, which is true!
