John Boyega's Role In "Star Wars" Sort Of Ruined His Love Life

He was going...Han Solo.

We all know John Boyega, right? Finn, the stormtrooper turned hero, and shining star of Star Wars: The Force Awakens?

Well, he recently appeared on The Graham Norton Show and shared a story about how he was dumped because of his role in Star Wars.

Before the release of Star Wars, his pal Orlando Bloom gave him some advice and told him to try and secure his forever girl.

So, that's exactly what he did. He met a girl, he took her on several dates, and everything was going swimmingly. But, she had no idea what he did for a living.

Shit hit the fan one day, though, when he and his date were in NYC. She finally asked him what he did for a living, and he pointed to a billboard where he could be seen holding a light saber.

But don't worry, this has a happy ending. Boyega is also starring in the upcoming film Star Wars: The Last Jedi so I'm sure his love life will be just fine.
