Lena Dunham And America Ferrera Really Went In On Donald Trump

"We cannot afford to see his vision of America come to be."

Last night at the Democratic National Convention, Lena Dunham and America Ferrera stood side-by-side on stage in support of Hillary Clinton.

Not only did the actors speak highly about the United States' first female presidential nominee of a major party, but Dunham and Ferrera also took the opportunity to really go in on Donald Trump.

Their opening lines were aimed directly at Trump.

"I am a pro-choice, feminist sexual assault survivor with a chronic reproductive illness. Donald Trump and his party think I should be punished for exercising my constitutional rights," Dunham continued.

Ferrera also chimed in, "Donald’s not making America great again. He’s making America hate again. And the vast majority of us, we cannot afford to see his vision of America come to be."

Their audience seemed pretty into it, to say the least.
