Katie Holmes Says "Dawson's Creek" Is Too '90s For A Reboot

"I don't think that in today's world, you could achieve that same kind of feeling."

And luckily for us, Holmes also discussed everyone's favorite '90s teen romantic drama, Dawson's Creek.

"That feels so long ago," Holmes said. "It feels like 100 years ago."

When Holmes was asked if she'd ever do a Dawson's Creek reboot, the actor said she didn't think it would work.

"When I look back at the show, it had a certain charm that was available," she explained.

"It was before the internet really took over, it was before iPhones, it was before this kind of new form of communication, and it had this certain feeling that was of the '90s."

"I don't think that in today's world, you could achieve that same kind of feeling."

Luke Kirby, Holmes' co-star in her new film, jokingly asked her if she thinks the Dawson's Creek characters would be friends on Facebook today.

"No, they text all the time," Holmes replied.

"Like the rest of us, they're texting with each other while they're sitting with each other."

IF YOU SAY SO, KATIE HOLMES!
