Which TV Show Had Incredible Marketing But Turned Out To Be A Waste Of Time To Actually Watch?

I was so hyped to see some of the OG characters like Fury and Hill get their time to shine in Marvel's Secret Invasion...only for the plotline to be so convoluted that I couldn't keep up, yet so boring that I didn't care to.

Recently, I rounded up some overhyped movies that viewers felt ended up being disappointments to watch. That got me thinking, what about TV shows?

For example, I was really excited for the Saved by the Bell reboot, but, for me, it failed to capture the magic of the original series.

Or, to go back a little further, as a kid, I was obsessed with Camp Rock. I was so excited for Demi Lovato to finally get their own show, but Sonny with a Chance just couldn't hold a candle to the other Disney Channel series of the time.

Or, more recently, Marvel promoted the heck out of Secret Invasion. I was so hyped to see some of the OG characters like Fury and Hill get their time to shine...only for the plotline to be so convoluted that I couldn't keep up, yet so boring that I didn't care to. I could only get through one episode.
