At only 14, Bella Hadid got a nose job, but as an adult, she wished she "had kept the nose of [her] ancestors."

Cosmetic surgery has helped a lot of people feel more comfortable in their own skin, but sometimes, it's left others wishing they could go back to the way they looked before. Ultimately, getting work done is a personal decision. Your face naturally changes as you age — and so may the way you feel about the cosmetic procedures you got when you were younger.

Here are 17 celebs who got cosmetic surgery young and later regretted or reversed it:

    1. On The Kardashians, the now-25-year-old Kylie Jenner revealed she secretly got a boob job at 19. After getting pregnant for the first time six months later, she grew to "wish, obviously, [she] never got them done to begin with."

She continued, "I had beautiful breasts, like, natural tits. Just gorgeous, perfect size, perfect everything...I would recommend anyone thinking about it to wait until after children. Obviously, I have a daughter, too, I would be heartbroken if she wanted to get her body done at 19."

    2. At 14, Bella Hadid got a rhinoplasty, but as an adult, she wished she "had kept the nose of [her] ancestors."

She told Vogue, "I think I would have grown into it."

    3. At 19, Angela White (aka Blac Chyna) got illegal silicone butt injections from someone who wasn't a real doctor. At 35, she got them removed. In an Instagram video, she said, "I just want all the ladies out there to know: Do not get silicone shots. You can get sick, you can die, have complications, and all this other crazy stuff."

She continued, "Normally, my procedure would've taken four hours tops. My procedure took over 8.5 hours, y'all. Whatever that silicone mass — whatever that was that was in my buttocks — it kept clogging the machine, and breaking it."

She also had her facial fillers dissolved.

    4. At 19, Denise Richards was in such a rush to get breast implants that she didn't do her research, and "a doctor put in bigger implants than what [she] asked for." When she went to a second doctor to have them corrected, he gave her even bigger ones, leaving her feeling "very vulnerable."

She told Us Weekly, "I was getting ready to film [1998's] Wild Things, and I didn't want to get into a lawsuit with some plastic surgeon. It wasn't right what the doctor did, but it is what it is."

On IVillage, she wrote, "At 19 when I first got my breasts done, I wish that I was confident enough with my body to not have had surgery. That is something that I really want to encourage in my daughters, to embrace their healthy body and have confidence...I often get asked about my thoughts on plastic surgery, and I honestly feel it's whatever makes a person feel good about themselves."

    5. On a 2011 episode of Good Morning America, Tori Spelling said, "I got my boobs done in my early 20s, and if I had known it would or could possibly impact production of milk, I would never had had them done."

She also later learned that her implants were "expired and recalled," but she put off a removal for years. However, her daughter, Stella, encouraged her to go through with it because she was worried about her.

On Jeff Lewis Live, Tori said, "I got them when I was really young. And I didn't know that at a certain point they would have an expiration. I didn't know that you would have to do it again...It really hit home for me when my daughter came to me, and she's like, 'Mom, I'm concerned. You have put this off. You told me for years now that you need to get your boobs redone.'"

    6. When Cardi B was 22, she got illegal biopolymer butt injections, but at 30 had them removed and warned her fans to never get the procedure done.

In an Instagram Live, she said, "All I'm going to say is that if you're young, if you're 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you're too skinny, and you be like, 'OMG, I don't have enough fat to put in my ass,' so you result to ass shots, don't!"

    7. Modern Family actor Reid Ewing got cheek implants at 19, but he was so uncomfortable with the results that he isolated in his apartment for six months. Afterward, he tried several other procedures until he finally vowed to stop at 24.

In an essay for HuffPost, he wrote, "None of the doctors suggested I consult a psychologist for what was clearly a psychological issue rather than a cosmetic one or warn me about the potential for addiction...Before seeking to change your face, you should question whether it is your mind that needs fixing. Plastic surgery is not always a bad thing. It often helps people who actually need it for serious cases, but it's a horrible hobby, and it will eat away at you until you have lost all self-esteem and joy. I wish I could go back and undo all the surgeries. Now I can see that I was fine to begin with and didn't need the surgeries after all."

    8. At 19, YouTuber Natalie Alzate (aka Natalies Outlet) got breast implants to "fix" the breast deformity she was born with. However, five years later, she "recognized what a disservice [she] had done to [her] body," as she began to experience an autoimmune disease, slurred speech, memory issues, and panic attacks. While researching her symptoms, she realized that her implants were likely the cause and decided to have them removed.

In a 2019 YouTube video, she said, "I went into surgery that day crying of fear and guilt, knowing what I had came in so happily to once get done was now my biggest nightmare."

However, after the removal surgery was over, she "felt like Natalie again."

    9. In a letter to her 18-year-old self for British Vogue, Victoria Beckham wrote, "I should probably say, don’t mess with your boobs. All those years I denied it — stupid."

She continued, "A sign of insecurity. Just celebrate what you've got."

    10. Love Island star and influencer Molly-Mae Hague first got lips fillers at 17, and she later got composite bonding on her teeth. However, she decided to have them removed when a selfie she took during a club appearance made her think, "I don't know what I've done to my face."

She told Cosmopolitan UK, "I went from looking like a teenager to someone on Botched. I’ve never thought of myself as insecure, but I must have been to do that...We need to stop normalizing filler, with things like 'Kylie Jenner [surgery] packages'...It scares me to think that if I have a daughter in 10 years' time, what it might be like for her."

    11. At 26, Ayesha Curry was experiencing postpartum depression that manifested as negative thoughts about her body, so she had a boob job "to have them lifted, but [she] came out with these bigger boobs [she] didn't want." She later had the implants removed.

She told Working Mother, "I got the most botched boob job on the face of the planet."

    12. When Lisa Rinna was 25, seeing Barbara Hershey's lips in Beaches inspired her to get permanent fillers in hers. However, 10 years later, the silicone caused hard and bumpy scar tissue, then 12 more years later, she felt she "was crazy to even touch them in the first place." So, she found a surgeon who could reduce the volume and reconstruct her upper lip.

She told People, "I don't regret [the initial fillers] for a second. It's made me who I am. I am the perfect poster child for what not to do on a whim. With all that's happened with the lip, I can show them that you need to love yourself for who you are and embrace how you look."

    13. The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs got her first of two boob jobs at 18, and she later tried lip fillers and Botox. However, she later came to regret all of the procedures, asking herself, "What have I done to myself? I'm so young, why am I going through this?"

On This Morning, she said, "I have to deal with a bad back, my boobs have dropped, an implant came away from me, and now I might not be able to breastfeed...I want to say to all these young girls, really think about going under surgery. There are so many alternatives these days."

She also revealed that she developed an addiction to lip fillers.

She said, "In the end, I remember looking at myself in the mirror and wondering what I'd done. So I got rid of the lip fillers, and I had nothing. I lost all sensitivity and had no lips. So I had corrective treatment and haven't touched them since."

    14. Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham was 21 when she underwent her first cosmetic procedures — a chin implant and a rhinoplasty. However, she regretted the chin implant and had it removed within a year.

At 31, she told Life & Style, "I could have done without getting a chin implant that I had to take out, that's for sure. It's definitely, like, dimpled up my chin. But you know, there's things that happen, and I can't control everything."

She also revealed that she decided to stop getting cosmetic work done altogether after she began living by a 12-step program and gained confidence.

She said, "Does it look like I need plastic surgery procedures? No. I'm feeling pretty happy. I've actually felt more freer. And I think that equals like less lines. I just feel so much happier and healthier. It's a whole balance."

    15. In her early 20s, Jessica Simpson tried Restylane lip fillers, but she didn't like how "fake" they looked to her. So, when they went away after four months, she was happy.

She told Glamour, "My lips are back to what they were. Thank God!"

    16. YouTuber Nessa Briella (aka Simplynessa15) got a breast augmentation when she was 22. Seven months later, she began experiencing complications, so she decided to get an explant.

In a 2020 YouTube video, she said, "It is not worth it. It is not worth the risk. I spent almost $10,000 getting my breasts done, and...I didn't think that literally less than a year later, I was gonna have to spend the exact same amount, if not more..to fix it all because it's literally killing me now."

    17. And finally, when Heidi Montag was 23, she brought printouts of hateful comments she'd received to the doctor then underwent ten cosmetic procedures — including Botox injections, a brow lift, and a chin reduction — in the same day. At 32, she revealed she wished she'd "waited and not made a decision so young because [she has] long-term health complications."

She told Cosmopolitan, "I was way too young to make such a life-changing decision and was under so much pressure because it was the beginning of comment sections and negativity and hate on the internet. I was just really self-involved at the time—like so many young people — but I was also on TV where every perceived flaw is amplified. I think I looked in the mirror a little too much...Obviously, it's your body and I’m not against plastic surgery, but everyone always shows you the before and after pics. They don't show you how devastating the recovery is. I don't regret a lot of my enhancement, but plastic surgery isn't something that should be glorified. Take it seriously."
