These Are The Toys With The Best Reviews Of 2018

    Six more days 'til Christmas!

I've always been a last-minute, day-of type of person, which isn't always the best when you're a mom.

So, last night – realizing Christmas is less than a week away – I went on a late-night binge. A binge into the endless world of Amazon toy reviews.

In case you, too, suffer from last-minute mom (or aunt/uncle) syndrome and are scrambling around right now trying to find legit Christmas gifts kids will love, here's what I found.

I am going to preface this by saying that I have a ten-year-old son, but was also shopping for a one-month-old, a two-year-old, and a six-year-old.

    1. A Whipz Mini Racers LED Light Up Glow in The Dark Cars with Ball Spinner and Keychain, because the video for this toy kind of sucked me in. It's like a laser light show in a magical ball.

    2. A L.O.L. surprise dolls kit, which is one of the most coveted gifts this year. Basically, each set is filled with surprises—like a doll, outfits, shoes, etc.

    3. A handheld BrainBolt game, because there's nothing better than finding a gift your kid will love that you also can enjoy. It is basically an advanced version of Simon.

    4. A B. Critter Clinic Toy Vet Play Set that I honestly want to buy for myself.

    5. An Osmo interactive tablet, which my son got for his birthday last year and loved. In the Detective Agency game, the kid gets to be a detective and solve mysteries in famous cities around the world.

    6. A set of color-matching eggs that have phenomenal reviews—and just look really fun.

    7. A Jetson Saturn Folding 3-Wheel Kick Scooter, because its safety reviews won me over despite my usual distaste for electric scooters.

    8. A WolVol Musical Activity Cube Play Center that my son had when he was little and loved. It was no surprise that this toy had great reviews.

    9. A fun game called Double Ditto, which legitimately has five stars on Amazon with over 600 customer reviews.

    10. An iPlay, iLearn 10 baby toy kit that is a complete set every baby should have.

    11. An exciting Scientific Explorer Science Kit for kids who want to get their hands dirty with 11 different experiments.

    12. A Kenu Airvue tablet holder, because it may come in handy on road trips and long drives.

    13. A Nuby Soothing Teeth Mitten is a practical gift for a new baby that is endlessly sucking on their fingers.

    14. And an Oculus Go, because it is said to be one of the best at-home virtual reality games. I have to include this because my son has been begging for it for over a year!

Happy toy shopping...and you better hurry!
