I also live in Adelaide and a few years ago had a baby brown snake slither out from under couch while my bf & I were on it ?. I froze then stood on dining table & called some snake catcher from a website & oh man was this guy hilarious. At the time I was like duuuuuuude stfu and save us but now I’m laughing! He was saying how dangerous baby brown snakes are because they are more skittish & telling me I would have 15 mins to get to a hospital even it grazed me with it’s teeth because baby’s have more venom. He then goes on to say he won’t be coming because he’s been bitten too many times and the missus says no more so he advises me to put on my baggy cargo pants & gumboots & get a shovel (I have exactly zero of all the above) & ‘guide’ it out of the house. He said he could send someone to us but the initial call out fee is $250 (WHAAATTT). He also tells me I better get it out cause if they get in the walls we would probably have to move out ?.
So we did get it out ourselves cause I’m cheap and if there’s a DIY option I’m picking that ?. FYI no one got bitten and the snake lives on to terrorize Adelaide residents.
Response to When Your S.O. Cheats:
I’m so the same! I don’t mind watching things more than once anyway but I know if I say I’ve watched it he will be like oh well let’s watch something else then but I actually want to watch it with him cause it’s just so much more enjoyable! When he was overseas I watched about 3 different shows we like and never said anything but when we were watching a few shows I made ‘predictions’ about how things were going to turn out which I inwardly was laughing so much about.
I think your biggest error was inviting Nicole & Max. Luke was married to Nicole and it didn’t end well and Lorelai was engaged to Max. I invited Coach Bennet & Alex as they werefairly casual relationships for both of them which means no drama!
Also Paul Anka is a very finicky Dog & may
cause problems getting down aisle (I chose Zach).
Aaand TJ & Liz are pretty oddball & from what we know of Kirk’s mom she is an intense personality so I sat the mom next to Ms Kim cause anyone is on their best behavior next to her!
Response to What’s The Craziest Way You’ve Broken A Bone?:
I have broken my leg three times. The first time jumping on an in-ground trampoline. My brother heard the crack and my scream but just ran away, delightful jerk that he was. Exactly a year later at age 4 it happened again on the same trampoline so needless to say I was banned from trampolines. And then 4 years later I was playing Red Rover & I decided to hurdle over a boy laying on the ground and i tripped and that was enough to break my precious bones once again. Family friends were babysitting us that weekend & didn’t believe it was broken so I was put to bed with Panadol that night. They felt pretty bad the next day as I was plastered up. My parents on the other hand just rolled their eyes like, oh really I thought we had moved past this stage.
Response to Can You Find The Moon In One Try?:
“Misconception: Different countries see different phases of the Moon on the same day.
Reality: Everyone sees the same phases of the Moon, but people south of the equator who face North to see the Moon when it is high in the sky will see the Moon upside down so that the reverse side is lit.”
I’m in Australia and I see a face on the moon which I love.
