OK I agree with some things on both sides. Now I am a “plus size” girl. I have been my whole teen to adult life based on clothing size. But here is the thing. If you base “plus size” on clothing alone you are completely wrong. I was a size 12 my freshman year of high school and people were accusing me of being anorexic. I was naturally busty, broad shouldered, and very wide hipped. I was never going to fit into a size 5 even if I was down to 1% body fat. So what does that say about using a clothing size to base obesity? It has no basis without taking into every other aspect of a woman’s body!
