We were robbed.
Whether it's the premise or a gradual evolution, we love the love.
...or at least until the series finale.
OTP for life!
The one healthy couple on the show. Chuck literally sold her for a hotel! Blair and Dan had the banter and a true emotional connection. And I still don't think it was actually possible Dan was Gossip Girl. Ugh!
They had the opposites attract and enemies to lovers trope right there. These two had so much chemistry and shared pain that built the foundation for a partnership that would have been beautiful to see turn into a full on romantic relationship. But, no, Katara chose someone else. How could she do that with a guy like Zuko around?
Curse you The Originals for being successful. In the grand scheme of both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, these two didn't share that much screentime. But when they did, they were electric and I would've loved to see a courtship and relationship play out, and for the above to be true.
I mean, they had the interrupt the wedding trope! They were friends-ish first and their love grew over time. Two people who disagreed on a lot of big issues, but still loved each other! At least they're both now in Boston together, so maybe we'll get an update soon on their status.
They never gave their relationship a real shot at lasting. A lot of this was Alicia resisting divorcing Peter for the whole run of the show, even though they were clearly very different people than they were before the scandal. And then it was too late.
If the show had just ended with Ted and Tracy meeting, with none for the future flash forwards for the gang, it would have been a beautiful ending to one of the funniest and most moving shows on TV. But no, Tracy had to die so Ted could be with Robin.
I'm still mad. We invested so much of the show into their relationship and to see it fall apart in only a few minutes was frustrating. If they were gonna fall apart, at least let us have time with it.
I know this is controversial on a number of levels. But, of all the time jump shenanigans, this one was my favorite because it actually made sense. They had great rapport as friends and in the flashbacks that laid the groundwork for their relationship, it made sense. Who says your high school sweetheart is the one you end up with?
Lucas Scott treated every woman he was in a relationship with terribly. Amidst his back and forth between Brooke and Peyton, I started rooting for the two of them to ditch him and ride off into the sunset together.
I know everyone wanted Dean and Castiel to become canon, but I always knew that wouldn't happen. I just wanted to Dean to be happy. And then he died in the finale before getting to truly experience a life of free will. I'm still mad about this.
