Jennifer Lawrence Hilariously Addressed Some Rumors About Herself, And Now I'm Even More Of A J Law Stan

Having to change costumes on a movie set because her dress was stained with Cheeto dust is cinema.

Jennifer Lawrence took on some spicy sauces and serious questions during this week's Hot Ones. By the end of the episode, she may have been crying from the hot wings, but she had me crying from laughter much sooner!!

She talked about embarrassing moments while working on her 2021 film Don't Look Up, including accidentally swallowing her nose ring in front of castmate Leonardo DiCaprio.

Classic J. Law, honestly. We know she's always been prone to the absurd on set. Liam Hemsworth once said in an interview that whenever they had a kissing scene on The Hunger Games, she would "make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish."

Although this definitely sounds like something Jennifer would do just for funsies, when asked about it on Hot Ones, she laughed it off. "It was not intentional — it was just, like, what I was eating and then we'd kiss. He should just, you know, get over it."

Another movie rumor she addressed was one that had to do with her 2013 film American Hustle. Did the wardrobe department really have to make duplicate costumes after Jennifer would stain dresses by snacking on Cool Ranch Doritos on set? Jennifer says this is almost true, but it was actually Cheeto dust.

"It was only one costume. It was a white dress. And I feel really bad! I actually didn't know until it came out and that was very disrespectful to the costume department. But [it was] an accident. I wasn't like 'Fuck you guys!'"

She explained that getting the second dress after the first one was Cheeto-fied only encouraged her and essentially caused a domino effect of more orange-dusted dresses. "Oh! They must have a million of these!"
