If you're like me, you probably watch Riverdale at this point mostly for its sheer ridiculousness.
Although the show is absolutely bonkers, today I want to talk about a Riverdale character we honestly don't appreciate enough: Veronica Lodge.
I may be bored of seeing her get the same plots revolving around Hiram and Archie, but I think V herself is still pretty great. Here are some of my favorite Veronica moments:
Spoilers ahead!
1. When she refused to join Cheryl's cheer squad unless Betty also made the team.
2. When she gave some tough love advice that we honestly all needed to hear.
3. When she delivered this absolutely iconic line.
4. When she was not here for the misogyny.
5. When she didn't hesitate to push her mom's buttons.
6. When she refused to leave Archie's side after his dad was shot.
7. When she joined the Pussycats and absolutely rocked the cat ears.
8. When she immediately rushed to comfort Cheryl when she broke down at Jason's funeral.
9. When she and Betty made up after their fight and sang a duet of "You Shine" from Carrie.
10. When she got the entire cheerleading squad to perform "Jailhouse Rock" outside Archie's jail.
11. When she delivered one of the most unintentionally funny lines in Riverdale history.
12. When she and Reggie shared the most intense first kiss with off-the-charts chemistry.
13. When she said what we were all thinking.
14. When she kept the guys at Riverdale High in check.
15. When she fired back at Betty and Jughead.
16. When she out-danced Cheryl and became the new captain of the River Vixens.
17. And finally, when she was the only one with any damn sense in this town.
