    There are some TV breakups that are absolutely devastating.

    But there are other TV breakups that are so terrible and ridiculous, they're hard to take seriously. Maybe they're absurdly dramatic, unintentionally funny, or just plain cringey. Teen TV couple breakups are often especially painful to watch.

    1. First, when Jesse cracked an egg on Rachel's head on Glee.

    3. When Jade told Beck he had 10 seconds to follow her outside or their relationship was over on Victorious.

    If there's one thing the Degrassi fanbase can all agree on, it's that these two NEVER should have been a couple in the first place.

    6. When Archie tried to break up with Veronica over the phone and she told him they were "endgame" on Riverdale.

    7. When Dean broke up with Rory in front of everyone at the town dance marathon on Gilmore Girls.

    Don't get me wrong, Dean was totally right to break up with Rory over this, but the fact that it happened in the middle of a 24-hour dance marathon is just wild. Imagine you're just trying to dance with your wife and some teenage boy launches into a whole breakup speech.

    8. When Cory tried to break up with Wendy by handing her a note in class on Boy Meets World.

    9. When Joey rejected Dawson and he ugly cried on Dawson's Creek.

    10. When Archie thought Valerie wanted him back, but then she just spilled her drink on him instead on Riverdale.

    TBH, I actually felt bad for Archie here. He is a hot mess, though.

    11. When Sam told Quinn their Color Me Mine date wasn't happening on Glee.

    Sam: "We're not going to Color Me Mine and I'm not your boyfriend"

    Sam was definitely right to break up with Quinn after she cheated on him, but the way he says they're not going to Color Me Mine is just SO dramatic and serious that I can't make it through the scene without laughing.

    12. When Guzmán ended things with Lu while they were wearing matching couple's costumes at a Halloween party on Elite.

    Are Guzmán and Nadia superior? Absolutely. Did I still feel bad for Lu here? Honestly, yeah. The fact that they were wearing matching costumes makes it kind of unintentionally funny, though.

    13. When Ben flew all the way to New York to visit Amy and then just blurted out that Adrian was pregnant with his baby on The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

    Yeah, I know this isn't technically a breakup scene, but it's simply too iconic to leave out.

    15. And finally, when Cody and Bailey had their anniversary dinner at the Eiffel Tower in Paris and dramatically broke up on The Suite Life on Deck.
