At long last, Season 4 of Elite is finally out on Netflix. If you're like me, you've already binged the season — and you probably have some strong ~feelings~ about it.
There's a lot to unpack about this season, but today I'm here to share one very specific grievance: Guzmán and Nadia were absolutely ROBBED.
They built Guznadia up for four seasons only to destroy them in the blink of an eye, and I am not okay with it! Here are some moments that prove they deserved so, so much better:
1. First, when they were partners for a class project and already absolutely adorable together:
Yes, Guzmán initially only partnered up with Nadia to win a bet, but he quickly grew to care about her. He felt comfortable with her, and you could tell his smiles were genuine.
2. When they goofed off by Guzmán's pool and both of them literally could not could stop smiling:
3. When Guzmán apologized for being a jerk and sent her a hijab he knew she would like:
4. When they listened to music together and Guzmán looked at her with the BIGGEST heart eyes:
5. When Guzmán told Nadia he'd "never wanted anything this much" and it was crystal clear that their chemistry was undeniable:
6. When they did this and put all other slow-burn ships to shame:
7. When Guzmán told her he wanted to make the most of the rest of their time together:
8. When Guzmán made a deal with Nadia's father to ensure she could stay at Las Encinas, even if it meant putting aside his own happiness:
9. When Guzmán wanted to make sure Nadia was okay after her father's heart attack:
10. When Guzmán started doing drugs to cope with his sister's death, and Nadia was worried about him:
11. When they finally, finally kissed:
12. When they snuck into Guzmán's old infinity pool in the middle of the night and hooked up...
13. ...and then woke up together like this the next morning:
14. When Guzmán took a risk and broke up with Lu so he and Nadia could finally be together:
15. When Nadia told Guzmán she was done running:
16. When Guzmán told Nadia she saved his life:
17. When Guzmán worked for Nadia's family's store to help her out:
18. When they both admitted they loved each other, even if they weren't together:
19. When Nadia won the scholarship, and Guzmán was her biggest cheerleader:
20. When Nadia told Guzmán she wasn't with Malick anymore and he was so, so happy:
21. When they shared this absolutely ~elite~ kiss:
22. When Nadia left for school in New York but promised Guzmán she would come back for him someday:
23. And then when Nadia did come back to visit and the look on Guzmán's face just said it all:
24. When they reunited and shared this perfect hug...
25. ...and even cuter kiss:
26. When Guzmán surprised Nadia with a picnic by the lake, but made sure it wasn't too romantic so she wouldn't miss him too much when she had to leave:
27. And finally, when Guzmán told Nadia he wanted to see her go after her dreams, even if it meant their relationship would have to be long-distance:
