Here's Which "Bridgerton" Character You Are Based On Your Zodiac Sign, According To An Astrologer

The accuracy is impressive.

Bridgerton is back — and we couldn’t be more excited to dig into the gossip of Regency-era high society.

If you’re anything like me, you can’t help but guess which characters best suit each astrological sign. And while we’re all dissecting the love matches in Bridgerton Season 2, we may learn a thing or two about their decisions by looking at the zodiac signs they most resemble.

But before we dive in, here's a little about me: As a spiritual practitioner, I’ve spent the last decade studying astrology and the ways chart placements impact human behavior. I’m a self-taught astrologer and tarot reader whose passion grew from checking my horoscope in the daily paper as a child to founding my tarotscopes newsletter, All in the Cards.

I based the below assessments on sun sign placements, the main astrological sign associated with your birth date. (Basically, it’s what you answer when someone at the bar says, “Hey, baby, what’s your sign?”) The sun sign is associated with identity, representing your true nature.

But this is Bridgerton, where sex and love reign supreme! To find out which character you’re most like from seasons 1 and 2, you can also check a couple of additional placements in your chart. (If you don't know your birth chart, you can simply fill out an online natal chart analysis to discover these placements in your chart.)

For love readings, I like to look at Venus and Mars placements. These placements rule love and sex and can say a lot about how you approach romantic and sensual relationships. And they’ll say a lot about how you’d approach the season if you were a Bridgerton character. 

With all that in mind, I went ahead and assigned each of the 12 zodiac signs to your favorite Bridgerton characters. (A quick note: This post contains spoilers from the premiere, so catch up before you read!)

Aries (March 21–April 19): Kate Sharma

Aries are known for their unapologetically bold personalities and highly competitive natures, just like the fiery Kate Sharma. She’s charming, dominant, and, most importantly, fiercely protective of her loved ones, willing to do whatever it takes to ensure their happiness. 

That said, she has trouble shying away from a challenge, whether in a game of croquet or love.

Taurus (April 20–May 20): Daphne Bridgerton

Sensual, stubborn, and somewhat traditional, Daphne embodies Taurean energy. Social stability is a high priority for last season’s Diamond, and loyalty to family and honoring their status is of the utmost importance. 

Above all else, though, Daphne values trust and truth, and finally feels safe now that everything is out in the open and settled with the Duke.

Gemini (May 21–June 21): Penelope Featherington

Geminis get a lot of hate in pop culture for being “two-faced,” but in reality, the sign is more multifaceted than double-dealing. Penelope is a perfect example of this — on the one hand, she is a loyal friend, sweet, and ready to sacrifice her desires for the happiness of others. 

On the other hand, her *spoiler* Lady Whistledown side embraces the mercurial side of Gemini personalities, with a sharp tongue and hot gossip to match. In fact, many Geminis may identify with the dream of having a secret identity by which they can spread the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Cancer (June 22–July 22): Edwina Sharma

Edwina Sharma is this season’s sweetheart, not only because she’s the Diamond but also because she has perhaps the purest heart of them all. Cancers are known for being soft and caring, guiding others through difficult situations, as Edwina did with Queen Charlotte. 

But when crossed, watch out — she’s not afraid to say what’s in her heart and can hold a mean grudge.

Leo (July 23–Aug. 22): Queen Charlotte

Leos are the zodiac royalty, so it only makes sense that Queen Charlotte would represent this sign. 

Opulent, proud, and sporting the best hair of anyone around (fun facts: Leos are known for having great hair!), Queen Charlotte is the embodiment of the regal lion. The way to her heart may be flattery, but she honors loyalty over all else.

Virgo (Aug. 23–Sept. 22): Marina Crane

Practical above all else, Marina Crane, née Thompson, was not afraid to pursue a marriage that would care for her children rather than a love match. Virgos are no-nonsense types, unafraid to tackle the hard decisions to guide them toward the outcome they find best. 

She’s also a bit stubborn in that way — once she’s made up her mind, there’s no talking her out of it, no matter how much Colin might have wished otherwise.

Libra (Sept. 23–Oct. 23): Colin Bridgerton

Colin Bridgerton has trouble deciding what he wants in love — one moment, he’s sworn off women entirely; the next, he is dropping by Marina’s house to see if there are any lingering feelings. 

Libras are famously undecided folks, but nevertheless, they have a lot of love to give once they decide to settle down.

Scorpio (Oct. 24–Nov. 21): Portia Featherington

Lady Featherington is a passionate woman, keen on protecting her family (and their name!) at all costs. She’s not afraid of a little deceit in the name of her version of the "greater good," and makes bold decisions that may raise a few eyebrows. Underneath it all, though, she loves her family and wants to preserve the life they’ve built.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22–Dec. 21): Lady Danbury

Headstrong, capable, and independent, Lady Danbury is a champion of those in need — be it the Duke in his childhood or the Sharmas as they attempt to reenter British society. 

She is proud of the full life she’s lived and is more than willing to share the wisdom she’s learned along the way. But don’t be mistaken: She won’t mince words when she has difficult thoughts to share.

Capricorn (Dec. 22–Jan. 19): Anthony Bridgerton

Anthony has taken his place as the head of the Bridgerton household from a very pragmatic stance — if he doesn’t take care of the family, no one else will. 

He takes that same approach to finding a wife, looking for the best option with a checklist in his hand rather than his heart. Don’t be fooled, though: Capricorns are fierce lovers and just want to provide for those who win their hearts.

Aquarius (Jan. 20–Feb. 18): Eloise Bridgerton

Eloise is more likely to be found at the print shop than at the ball, craving the hallmark mental stimulation that fuels all Aquarians. 

She has a revolutionary spirit and is never afraid to speak her mind regarding her societal opinions. Even if it means she feels a bit of an outcast at times, Eloise is happiest when she follows her heart.

Pisces (Feb. 19–March 20): Benedict Bridgerton

Artistic and dreamy, Pisces are never afraid to indulge in any activity that expands their mind. Benedict spends most of his time experimenting with altering his reality and creating art with like-minded folks, getting intimate with his emotions. 

Benedict even goes out of his way to remind others to listen to their heart’s motivations, as he does with his brother Anthony.
